My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. After paying for samples, they were never dispatched, and getting any response from customer service has been incredibly difficult. Claire initially replied, but as soon as there was an issue, communication became non-existing. I waited over four hours for a response one day and more than three hours the next, while my emails also went unanswered. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident placing a larger order with this company.

No delivery, ordered 17th June
I ordered some samples on 17th June and after many emails and calls I still haven't received them. Today I called asking for a refund, no apology just a comment that their colleague is on annual leave so it might get dealt with when they are back on Monday.
I have a large space to pave, and I wanted the samples to make sure I was 100% happy before spending a large amount of money.
I have since ordered some different samples from another company who got them to me the next day, so I will most likely be using them.
I will NOT be using Paving Superstore, and have already told some friends, who also have a large area to pave, my dealings and have recommend they don't even looking at the website.

Easy enough to order online, however customer service and delivery information is useless!
Called and was held “number2 in the queue”. Despite my call being very important to them, they didn’t pick up.
Opted to then use ‘Peter Paver’ ( their chatbot). Utter useless. Got referred to Claire who after 40 mins still hadn’t told me anything useful. Do yourself a favour and buy your products elsewhere. This is a very difficult company to use.

I phoned and waited 15 minutes before being told that my order would be looked into and that I'd receive an update. I'm still waiting.
I should have listened to the other poor reviews. Even if it costs a bit more, it's not worth the hassle of dealing with this company.

That said, we completely understand that you would have appreciated a more timely update following your telephone call, and we're sorry if this was not provided as quickly as expected. We are continually working to improve our communication throughout the order process.

Room for improvement
Communications regarding delivery could certainly be better as I had to chase twice. The courier was very helpful when it did arrive as were the people I spoke to. The porcelain paving is nice, though it has ‘Made in Portugal’ stamped on which seems to contradict the ‘Select Italian Range’ name and Italy clearly stated under country of manufacturer on the website!

Regarding the country of manufacture, we appreciate why this may have caused some confusion. The Select Italian Range is designed and manufactured by an Italian company using Italian tooling and production methods. However, some of the production takes place at the manufacturer's facility in Portugal, which is why the slabs are stamped "Made in Portugal". This does not affect the quality or authenticity of the product, as it is produced to the same Italian specifications and standards.

From the start to finish was a simple and enjoyable experience. Paving superstore website was easy to use and allowed us to explore our different options for the project we had in mind.
Once we decided what product to go with, ordering was easy. We chose to make a telephone call (freefone) to order due to a few queries we needed answering. There was quite a queue waiting for an answer, but once we got through our questions were answered quickly. We only required a part order so the guy on the phone called back within an hour with a quote.
The ordering process was simple after the quote and we had our delivery a few days later.
Upon delivery, the driver even helped to bring the heavy packs up our steps into the back garden (I appreciated this and gave him a pack of beer, which he said he would enjoy when watching the match after work).
Overall, excellent service.

We're sorry that a temporary power outage prevented us from taking your call.
This was entirely outside our control. We placed clear notices on both our website and Facebook explaining the situation and asking customers to email us so we could respond as soon as power was restored.
Leaving a one-star review and calling us "cowboys" because of a temporary power outage is a significant exaggeration of what actually occurred.
