Fast no fuss delivery of my coal and a good website with plenty of choice.

From the moment I called Duns to enquire about wood for my log burner, I found the staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Their assistance helped me to decide what type and size of wood I needed, right down to delivery procedures. The delivery team delivered my wood exactly where I asked them to. I am very happy with Duns and their service from start to finish and will definitely be returning to them for more wood!

Highly recommended. Fitted new Charnwood stove, fireplace alterations, hearth, flue and chiney pot. I've had a stove fitted in a previous house and this was night and day. All elements (inclding a cherry picker as I have solar panels) were done with upmost professionalism and high quality. Price was competitive and I have all the safety certificates etc (which I didnt get with previous installers). If local dont bother going anywhhere else.

After some checks it was discovered that the flue liner needed replaced. A lot of work had to be done, but the team arrived as arranged, did the work and tided up after themselves so well you wouldn't have known they'd been there. So impressed and pleased

Great people and good service, always a pleasure to deal with Pearsons staff. 4/5 because I don't have much to compare you with and we had a long wait between payment of the deposit which was the majority of the cost and installation. This meant a lot of money out of the account for a long time before seeing the 'goods'

Customer service here is absolutely appalling.
Definitely would not recommend.

Had lunch in the cafe and it couldnt have been nicer. Great selection and service. Looking forward to returning one day.

I have been a customer of Pearsons for many years. Always received first class service, be it purchasing, or requesting information about products. From coal, to plants, gardening and DIY products.

A minor issue was dealt with in an open and courteous manner - resolved very quickly. Staff will do their best to help, both in store or if phoning.

Coal deliveries, always on the days stated - only once was this changed with advanced notice. Michael, our coalman is a star in himself. Always cheerful, open to discuss if any sudden problems with ordered product lighting, or burning not as previously. My small multi-fuel stove burns warmly with Pearsons products - with a kettle on top there is always hot water too!

If you cannot visit them at Duns, would definitely recommend a look at their website.

I really value Pearsons of Duns… They have consistently been good to me over decades ! Much respect to all the Pearsons of Duns team and thanks for keeping the pencil sharp on energy costs despite the unprecedented price rises.

This Company is a gem amongst coal merchants. Easy to reach, very good contact over the phone and the order gets delivered promptly and as scheduled. Professional drivers deliver and stow for you if you want them to. All without fuss or drama. Lifelong customer here.

Following a service by Paul from Pearson’s, our stove looks brand new. Excellent service too from in store and we now have new glass in the stove too. It looks amazing and the level of heat we get from it has increased tremendously. I would highly recommended Pearson’s. So good to find a business that gives such great customer service.

Since moving to the borders we have used pearsons for our solid fuel heating. From talking to the girls on the tills to Chris the delivery driver the experience has been 5 star. Something while living in England we never had ( I'm english). Thanks again to everyone..

Absolutely delighted with our new stove and how it has been fitted into our existing fireplace. It's an old house, it wasn't straight forward but the work was carried out so carefully and skilfully, with such attention to detail. Beautiful, it's transformed the room. Customer care, advice, communication all great too. And very competitive price.
