This is such an awesome app or source for someone like me. Its hard when you have to pay 60 and 80 for meds and need more cash in hand for a while till next pay day. I am so far the only one that has used it at two wall marts. I asked the cashier and she said she had never heard of penguin pay. Hey if you need some marketing let me know I'm awesome at that. I want to buy stock. lol

Different amount needed to be paid than original amount quoted

Because my medicine cost more than the website said it would my Penguin Pay card could not be processed. As I was standing at the pharmacy a representative from Penguin Pay called me, got the new amount programmed in, and I was able to get my medicine payment processed right then. I didn't have to call Penguin Pay and sit on hold forever and then go back to the pharmacy to get my medicine. Penguin Pay was on top of things. I appreciate their promptness and patience in getting the new amount processed for me so I could get my much needed medicine.

An experience to remember.

At first, I was skeptical about using the service. The first obstacle was having to go to so many pharmacies until I found one that actually accepted this program. Walmart was able to help me out a provide us with the medication we needed. Thank you customer service for calling back in a timely manner and being available to rectify the problem while at the cash register.

Thanks

Great service but largely unknown…

Great service but largely unknown unless you stumble upon it online while trying to figure out why your insurance doesnt cover Rx until you have paid $2200 into the plan.

The Good: 0% interest. 0. You also have something like 12 weeks to pay with weekly auto-withdrawal. Bad credit approved and still 0%.

The Bad: As mentioned, the name does not do this service justice. Also, it's true that even though Penguin Pay is associated with a CVS saving card, no CVS pharmacy had a clue what this was or how to use the virtual c.c. There needs to be integration into various pharmacy's systems or at least an automated connection between your service (payment) and my mobile CVS pharmacy app. Lastly, the total cost should be verified prior to pharmacy visit or an agreement between the customer and Penguin Pay that there can be variation of x number of dollars between the signed loan amount and actual cost during pickup. That way, the virtual card, if still in use, won't be denied. This is especially important if it's after business hours.

Thank you, Jenna. You're absolutely right about the payment integration, and we expect to have it soon!

Just to be clear, we are partnered with Singlecare for the discount, not the CVS savings card, which is likely why there was a discrepancy in the amount at the register. We are also an independent payment option, so the pharmacy would not necessarily be familiar with the program. Best! Team Penguin.

Thanks for your feedback, Sandra! We're working hard on issuing a new form of payment beyond the virtual card. Will notify you when it's available!
