I was struggling a bit to get access to my Perlego account. Within 48 hours I have been contacted to get it sorted. The range of texts is just what I need.

I am an English Literature student and using Perlego has saved me a fortune, not just for my course texts but for my wider reading. I am frankly surprised at the negative reviews I have come across since Perlego is easy to use and the subscription charge is clear to understand.

The bookshelf feature has been massively useful for organising text I need to cover and I have found some very niche reading to help with my essay topics and the angle that I choose to take in my research.

It's not worth it. You do have access to the whole book, but you can only view one chapter at a time, and after 10% of the book, you can no longer copy. I recommend getting a PDF version. I will never use this website again. It's not worth it!

I use Perlego for part-time Masters degree and for building my skills and knowledge in my work as lecturer.

There are a fantastic range of books are available on Perlego. Not having to buy lots of textbooks has saved me a lot of money. Surprisingly, there are a ton of books from categories that I never thought I would find as they are less mainstream.

Many of the features - highlighting, notes, citing - are simple and fluid to use as you read.

As Perlego continue to develop, I look forward to seeing how they will improve existing features and add new ones.

Perlego has made getting mathematics and computer books so simple and easy for me. I dreaded searching for titles. Now 90 % of the titles I need are available to me at the snap of my hand. I have been using it for 7 months now.

The ease of use to search for textbooks. The bookmarks are handy too.

I love to use Perlego. It has saved me tons of money on textbooks for my classes. It is also great for references on research papers without having to go to the library. The search book feature is very helpful on open book quizzes.

I can't comment on the overall website but being deliberately misled at step 1 is enough to warrant a 1 star from me.

I found a book I wanted to read via a Google search that linked to Perlogo.com

Their page stated that I could "Start reading in just a few quick steps" and offered the typical signup prompts.

However, what they fail to explain is that once you've handed over your personal details (don't do that), the next of those "Quick steps" is paying them £12 per month, £40 every 4 months or £96 per year!

I find this to be a very useful resource and I would recommend it. This online library features many titles in mine and other fields, ranging from more classic, reference titles to more up to date works. Very excited to have a complete library at my fingertips!

I canceled my account but the website kept charging me $22/month for a year before I caught it. The company refused to refund me except for the last two payments saying I should've caught this even though it was their fault that the cancelation wasn't honored on their website. I've seen others reporting problems with canceling subscriptions (google it). I am posting this warning here, so that you do your due diligence and check your bank account for charges after you cancel your subscription with them.

Customer service was prompt and good

Perlego is a really helpful tool for my studies at Bible college. It has a large collection of scholarly books available. The vast majority of the books I need to read for each class are included in Perlego. To get through my readings each week I often have it read them out me while I'm driving or doing the dishes, which is a nice time saver.
It's also great for doing assignments, as it gives a vast variety of resources to use and cite. I appreciate especially the ability to highlight text with different colours, write notes and use the search function.
I would highly reccommend the use of Perlego to any univesity or college student.

As a mature student working remotely on gaining a new qualification, Perlego has enabled me to access a wealth of knowledge, resources and support that I would have struggled to find elsewhere. From a very accessible and easy to use interface, a huge library, innovative AI and a range of tools to support reading, studying and note taking, I honestly wish Perlego had been around when I was first a student.

I've renewed my membership and moved from 4 months to yearly because of how impressed I have been with the service.

I wasn't sure about signing up to this but I now use it for every uni assignment and will likely keep it once I finish uni as there are so many books at the click of a button.

Seamless UI, great to listen to academic books, although the text to speech function could use some customizing for voices; amazing catalogue for book selection. Overall, for students in higher education, a great platform.
