One of the best decision of myself and my family that we choose persimmon homes. From the beginning to till handing over keys they were very co operative, took our opinion in every step, prioritize our decision and handed over in time. The works are amazing, we couldn't find any major defect with our professional snags. We really loved our new home. The willow groove area is one of their best project I believe. I want to specially thanked to Tony, Lynn and Jools, you people are superstar, the way you dealt with us. We are really pleased with persimmon team.

Had excellent service and experience with Kyle (Joiner) from Persimmons. I had to get my door adjusted and new seal put in and he carried out a very thorough and professional job.

We had an amazing experience buying our new build home, and we couldn't be happier with the support we received from Leigh throughout the entire journey.

From our first meeting right through to the handover of our keys, Leigh was always professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She kept us informed every step of the way, answered all of our questions with patience, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.

24/07/26 update.snag list come back from professional comany with 128 issues and air bricks buried that will cause dampness

7am you customer service manager footer talking to people like rubbish and wondering why he gets reaction then playing the victim says it all. Yes interacted but the attitude from him was absolutely shocking as well. Standing in my home trying to talk down to me - not a chance - flooring £4500 ignored again as well as everything else pathetic company - ceo lets this happen - there's a reason that manger is all over social media for same reasons.

20/07/26 - Update since original post - nothing changed no fixes or solutions - site stating stuff is booked doesn't happen - site manager hoping to budge jobs and think it's ok - avoid at all costs

Liars and contractors bodge up work and then fail to deliver what’s sold. They ignore items and snags and money owed on completion. £1500 is owed, and the inside contractor they used for carpets is shocking at £5k (inside contracting) - paper work to claims court submitted.

Nearly four weeks have passed and not a single issue has been resolved. The carpets have been bodged into the house and some aren’t even supplied. Multiple parts of the purchase are missing, and even an oven with no shelves is still missing after four weeks. The flags are all loose, the turf is missing, and there’s a smell of sewage coming through the house. The ceo has been made fully anware and still ignored. The driveway is covered in builders’ waste and looks about five years old, all uneven and shocking.

The bath seals are already gone, the kitchen cabinets are damaged and wanting to send a magic man in, the windows are all damaged scratched, again wanting to bodge job repair them.

Even the alarm system was missed off when I paid for it. It was fitted and wired into a light switch, but is this even legal as it’s a change to the electric circuit?

My gutters are also covered in builders’ waste. I’ve booked a snagging company due to lost trust and I’m hoping they’ll find out what else has been hidden.

Trust none of them even lied to on site about it.

The flags are so bad my daughter tripped over them while moving. The HSE would have a field day on a site with persimmons.

Drains left unsafe and filled with sewage and builders waste down them causing horrible smell in the house constant no urgency at all.

If you’re thinking of going with Persimmons dont, crack straight down front if house through bricks as well

My wife and I had a faultless experience with Persimmon Homes, West of Scotland, from start to finish, when we completed the purchase of or new home at the end of January 2024.

We cannot, very belatedly, thank Mary (sales), Jamie (site manager), Jimmy (construction director), and members of the regional sales team and the sales director for their attention, care and support throughout our protracted reservation and, ultimately for a beautiful home on a lovely development, The Grange, South Lanarkshire.

By the time we were able to move in, the house had pretty much already been snagged. Thank you to Jamie for his care and attention. Thank you too to Mary for her unwavering support and assistance from reservation almost eleven months prior to completion!

Thank you also to the senior sales team and regional sales director for their support and intervention throughout.

The house was finished to a very high standard with minimal snagging required when we moved in, and only one or two relatively minor issues during our first two years.

Thank you to Leia and William at West of Scotland Customer Care for their assistance once the property was handed over to them for any remedials. The trades people sent to carry out remedial work and repairs did so professionally and to a high standard, thank you.

We would highly recommend Persimmon West of Scotland to anyone, and we want to thank the company for a family home, the design and layout of which perfectly meets the needs of myself and my wife, my two teenaged children, and my elderly Mum who we moved in to live with us.

We moved in to our house nearly 8 weeks ago now and are very happy with our new home! We do have lots of snags that are due to be completed but Gavin O’Grady has been brilliant in getting these things booked in to be done for us and going above and beyond to make our post move experience as smooth as possible and I couldn’t praise him enough. Thank you Gavin!

Lots of hidden issues unfortunately. Boiler not fitted properly, bath overflow pipe not fitted resulting in numerous houses getting water damage ( bought ours a while ago )

Cracked sand stone lintel lawn was like a swamp when it rains so we had astro turf but when they dug the garden out the amount of rubbish that came up was atrocious.

Cement bags, plastic, ton bags and much more. We will never buy a Persimmon home again!

Dave (Plastic Surgeon) did a great job with our front door, touch ups what needed fixing. Great job and nice bloke!

We part exchanged and found the process seamless. Persimmon kept us informed every step of the way.
They have also been helpful and supportive since our move and the site inspector has been great.

My First new build buy , I’m totally impressed with the customer service and house build , the house stay’s cool when temperatures are over 30 out side , the builders polite and informative, so far so good .

Very good Castumer Servıce, very very good manager on site helping a lot specially the customers team Aisha and Keylib. They’re very very very good helping all the time any anything you need ask you can ask them and straightaway they give you the answer. There is a lot to say I can’t find it words this is the best service ever in the area.

All round excellent service and house was above my expectations.. and after care service was good as well.
