Complex process made easy by the staff at pet drugs on line.

This is the only time that I have had a need to give only 2 stars and I am sorry to have to do this today. Previously I have always had excellent service. My last order seemed to be a catalogue of errors, when I ordered the items I wanted and speaking to a customer service representative I requested next day delivery I was charged the additional cost which I accepted fully. As I placed the order in the late afternoon I allowed an extra day for the delivery. After 5 days not including a weekend and no delivery I rang the office to chase up my order and after some investigation I was advised that it was waiting for the checks to be completed as this item was a prescription item. I pointed out that I had purchased this item many times previously and it had never been a prescription item before. The advisor looked in to it, checking the item and agreed with me that the product ordered was not a prescription item and should not have incurred this delay. This was rectified and the goods despatched the same day and I received them the following day, the sort of service I had always expected.
I would like to know how this error was made, does the computerised system know the difference? Additionally though and I realise you must be busy I am concerned that if this product were prescription only then I would have been waiting in excess of 5 days just for the prescription to be authorised (I say this because in answer to my query your advisor told me that my order was still waiting for a vet / pharmacist to be authorised. Should I have needed a prescription I could easily be waiting for 7 days or more for the items to be despatched. Nothing like the service I have previously received and a little worrying for future orders.
I will confirm that my delivery charge was refunded & without any sort of resistance for which I thank you. It would however be interesting to understand how the mistake happened.

Pet Drugs online are always efficient and super speedy at posting our cats medication when we request. The cost is half the amount we would pay at our Vet practice. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering using the service.

I use Pet Drugs on line on a monthly basis and every month I’m invited to do a review and every month I say the same. Whilst I’m happy with the process once I’ve made contact it’s the waiting to get contact that irritates me. The recorded message tells you what your wait time is likely to be or offers to call you back. A call back doesn’t always work for me especially if you’re going out and they call back at an inopportune moment. The last time I was given a wait time of 13 minutes so I decided to hang on. It actually took longer. I’ve raised this issue on previous reviews and even had a reply suggesting that the company was in the process of employing additional support staff, however I have to say it doesn’t get any better.

I tried to do an order online but that was rubbish kept putting more items in basket or items I didn’t want tried about 3 times and also next day no good so I placed my order over the phone which was successful

The staff bend over backwards to help in every way. . They make the atmosphere is so good too. Nothing is too much trouble.
