Very efficient thank you

Claiming was a simple process with the help of our vet.
Claim settled swiftly and without any fuss.

Only ever made one claim in 5.5 years before cancelling today. Our premiums went up and up, then up again.

Our dog had to have a castration due to having blood in his pee. Total bill £1200 (£800 investigation + £400 castration).

The vet claimed on our behalf, advising that the castration might not be covered. It wasn't. In fact NONE of it was covered! Apparently an intact dog does not get the same cover as a castrated one.

The pet insurance sector is just a racket, and all insurance companies are laughing in our faces.

Cancelled my insurance immediately. I'll put the £90 per month in a savings account and do it that way. I'd have been way in credit by now if I'd just done this from day one.

Pet Protect have been excellent in connection with our female Lurcher who requires medication during the spring/summer for allergies. Our vet can liaise with them directly and the claims have been paid quickly. Would highly recommend this company

Filled out all the relevant forms plus public liability online in regards to my pet dogue de Bordeaux, when it came to buying the insurance at the end a yellow box comes up saying we can’t insure your pet dogue de Bordeaux for public liability, I rang the company and asked why this was just to be told we won’t insure them as they are high risk, I asked in what sense as they are not banned or dangerous breeds, was told they considered them high risk due to their size. Stupid comment in my opinion

My dog Fergus has been insured with this company since a pup. Never had any issues with claims and always happy to assist over the phone or in their live chat system. Their claims were always processed quickly and easily. Highly recommend

Nothing but praise - Isabel helped with my issue - it was a mistake on my part and they were very responsive and efficient and were able to help me reinstate my pet insurance asap after noticing my mistake! - thank you! We now have both of our pets on this insurance and have no plans to switch! We also have them insured through the PitPatPet tracker and app which means if we keep our dogs activity above their daily minimum our excess fees are waived - this is amazing! We have nothing but praise and would encourage this provider if you were struggling to find the right insurance. (Previously with Purley Pets who were good but just slightly more expensive for a little less quality in my opinion! - although we had nothing bad with them just customer experience in general) 10/10 for pet protect! Thank you :)

Unfortunately in common with a lot of insurance companies you insist on increasing your cost year on year despite being loyal for 11 years the price had exceeded all of the other prices on the market (for the same service) by over 133%, basically you were as good as telling me to bugger off with the prices for my renewal. Such a shame I am a loyal person at Heart and enjoy relationships with companies where we can both prosper however for some reason Insurance just doesn’t follow that model and you are a prime example.

I submitted my forms to the vet who completed their part and sent it away.
I received an e mail receipt and the payment was prompt.

My dog has recently had treatment of his toe and this eventually required the toe removing. My vets did an amazing job of looking after him and my insurance with Pet Protect sorted the bill for his treatment directly with the practice taking away all the worry of first paying and then claiming back, so we could give all our time and care to our beautiful spaniel and getting him back to full health again.
