PetProtect were helpful and supportive on the phone, and settled the claim within a week once it was submitted. If you think that the market leader is the only option, then don't. PetProtect don't direct settle with your vet, but if you pay by credit card then you won't be out of pocket. Also they offer great ways to keep the premiums down - in my case I pay 20% of the claim plus a £100 excess, which lowers my annual outlay, but still means I don't have to worry that I will have trouble paying a £5000 vet bill.

My dog has been insured with Pet Protect for 11.5 years, they have paid out every claim I’ve submitted, including some BIG ones!! I would 100% recommend Pet Protect.

Pet protect have been fantastic in response to my many claims unfortunately we have had a poorly dog over the past 3 years so have had to claim multiple times for treatment and medications pet plan have responded immediately to any queries I have made

Wow. We have been with Pet Protect for the last 3 to 4 years insuring our Maine Coon Molly.

The premiums were reasonable and their cover for when we needed it was excellent. However our premiums doubled last year ..but we took the hit. I was shocked to find out that the recent renewal has doubled again! From £14 per month in the first year to over £60 per month in three years is a joke. What happened to one of the best?
British Insurance is just broken like everything else and they just don't care.
So disappointed.

I've been with Pet Protect for my dogs entire life (he's a 12 year old boxer) and i've never had a major issue with them. They process claims fast and most of all they've been very fair, which is all you want when dealing with insurance.
