My renewal this year was nearly double what is was last year for one of my 3 cats! Their website is very misleading and their customer service reps constantly say one thing and another says otherwise. Will be removing 2 of my cats before theirs renews in a few months

Always brilliant help. Today just needed information about what dental treatment is covered and as usual great customer service. This company has stepped up at some of the hardest times for our 2 dogs and I recommend them wherever I go plus their kindness & compassion always shines through. Thank you 🙏🏻

Putting my dog to sleep was so upsetting, he's a stressful dog an very old, after phoning you to find out about home euthanasia I was told only £50 towards cost and he would have to be unable to walk, I said keep the money I don't need the hassle of a refused claim.

Quick and easy to take out insurance policy. Very good rates and level of cover.
I've had to make two claims in the past year with 2 of my dogs. This was a very quick and simple process and paid out very quickly.
Would recommend.

Fast response to claim friendly helpful staff

I emailed pet protect to ask them something about my policy and then I got an email asking if I was satisfied with the reply???? Thing is I’ve had no reply about my query so not sure how I can fairly rate my experience. When I tried to leave feed back it skipped passed the part where I could write my query?? Not a good system as I’m no further forward ??

Extremely good company. Very competitive rates. We’ve had our Labrador insured with Pet Protect since we had him. Unfortunately he’s had cancer for most of his life and has had to have numerous operations. Claims are paid out quickly and communication is excellent. Would use again and would recommend.

Excellent service from pet protect, when we had to claim for my pets operation they paid the claim to the vets within 6 days. We had no issues with them.

Amazing customer service from Georgia on the helpdesk. She went out of her way to check on a question about the T&Cs of a dog policy before I took out the insurance & even called back when her email didn't go through. More companies should have customer service like she delivered!!! I will definitely take out the policy with this level of service.

I dealt with Georgia today after what has been a stressful time with my dog needing emergency surgery etc I had a few queries and she listened, showed compassion and was very supportive. She made comprehensive notes and then took the time to check with the claim manager. She then called me back as promised and went through everything with me in a calm and professional manner. Georgia kindly put a summary in a detailed email for me. Overall a great experience when I needed it most. Thank you. I will highly recommend you.

Query dealt with quickly

I'm disappointed to give 3 stars because for the odd small claims that we've needed to make in the last 6 years, Pet Protect have responded really well and paid out efficiently. However, my renewal quote this year has doubled, despite not making any claims in the last 12 months so I'm now in a position of considering whether to go elsewhere, or even keep the money in a separate savings pot for 'just in case'. Having looked at other reviews, I can see this is happening to many families. Understandably, costs will go up each year - but doubling is ridiculous.

Check the small print. Added a 15% surcharge (copayment) to a young dog and a capped payout to only £750 for a common surgery which costs £3000, (cruciate) with no prior issue. Shocking when you pay £70 premium a month! Only paid out £167!!!!
