the problem with this prop firm is that they make the 2% drawdown on a 25k, most of the prop firms offer 4 to 8% this is how Phidias is making money, you will just not be able to cope with the 500 "dollars" drawdown and will keep paying them for more evaluation. i had an account and i am new to futures i accidently opened a btc position and lost my account. the other thing is that they have videos contradicting themselves, they say that you can use Rithmic using Ninjatrader and Sierra charts then the cs tells you no it's only Rithmic and it's terrible. people should choose deepcharts. i really wanted to have any payouts to prove their legitimacy but unfortunately this bottleneck 2% drawdown they deliberately put didn't help. and payout system seems very strange. i have a youtube channel i will also review them.

I have multiple accounts with Phidias and generally like what they offer — the account structures are well-designed and reasonable. This review is about one specific experience.
On May 31, the Tradovate data feed experienced a confirmed, widespread failure. The feed froze, the spread blew out from roughly $0.75 to over $30, and I exited my position into corrupted data — turning an approximately $6,000 gain into a $20,000 loss on a tournament account. My other Phidias accounts run on DXFeed and were completely unaffected by the same trade. This wasn't a trading error. It was a platform data event that impacted Tradovate users across multiple prop firms.
I filed a support ticket, provided screenshots documenting the issue across platforms, and asked a straightforward question about expected resolution. Two other firms I trade with corrected affected accounts. Phidias responded once with a single sentence that didn't address the question, then went silent on follow-up.
What pushed me to write this was seeing Phidias publish a review of their own support claiming they respond promptly and thoroughly to every customer issue. That's not what happened here.
The accounts are worth considering — I'm still with them. Just be aware that if something goes wrong on the Tradovate side specifically, follow-through on support isn't guaranteed.

My last review was very emotional after being angry at what I felt was suspicious behavior on their part. (I shorted the market and the account breached despite the market moving in my direction), but I’ve decided after a week to post a more calm and measured review.

The way they handle their customer care is woefully short of anything else in the industry, there is inadequate communication and no actual addressing of the issue. I’ve seen a few people complain about getting kicked off the discord for asking questions and this has happened to me as well, they have also failed to pay on a few occasions and that for me is enough to decide that there are other firms out there that promote proper non gambling trading and have decent customer care and an intention to pay traders.

Their spam emails of “80% off” are really annoying as there is no sale and the “80% off” price is the normal price. After stepping away and look h at them objectively, They just come across as disingenuous and dishonest and you can obviously trade with them if you wish, but as someone who has experience using this firm, I’d highly recommend you don’t do so. Find yourself one of the bigger more reputable firms with a history of paying people out and proper customer care.

It has already been two weeks, I want to make an account, but there is no payment by card, there is some problem in the system, and I kindly ask you to resolve this quickly.

Phidias does pay out i have been paid 2k$ by them BUT MAJOR BUT i also had an issue where i well passed the 26500$ mark on my 25k E2L cash account. After passing that on the rithmic trader platform i tried to close my position using both their cancel position / close position buttons on the software with both not working. I closed my RTrader platform reopened it and did the same to no effect only once restarting a second time it allowed me to close my position. The support team also was to no help and continued to close my support tickets with no response. Which this was a shock to me because we have done good business up untill this point .

I subscribed to the Phidias Premium 50K challenge. On my first trading day, my account was force-liquidated while a SHORT NQ position was open. At the moment of liquidation:

— My BALANCE was $49,250 — well above the $47,500 floor
— Only my EQUITY had temporarily dipped below $47,500 due to the open floating position
— 50 minutes later, the market reached my Take Profit, confirming the trade was correct

This directly contradicts three of Phidias's own official sources:

1. Help Center Article 4: "If your BALANCE reaches and exceeds the value of your drawdown limit, you will be liquidated" — my balance never did.

2. Official website: "A temporary spike against your position won't kill your account" — it did.

3. Written confirmation from Phidias support (received before purchase): "Open positions are not included in the EOD check, regardless of their unrealized profit or loss" — my open position triggered the liquidation.

I sent three formal dispute emails with full evidence. One dismissive response was received (no engagement with the arguments). Two emails — including one confirmed received via their help portal — have been ignored for 4+ days.

UPDATE — same evening as this review: I raised the dispute on their public French Discord with the same evidence. A staff member replied "your account was liquidated, I don't see the issue" without addressing a single argument. My messages were then deleted and my account was banned. Their replies remain visible. Mine were removed.

I specifically chose Phidias over other prop firms because of these exact rules. The written confirmation from their own support team was a determining factor in my purchase. A chargeback has now been initiated.

I would have preferred Phidias to honor their own written rules.

After reading many reviews - there is no hope in hell I would ever work with this prop firm. Shameless business practices will eventually ruin this company and taint the entire industry. Phidias - do yourself a favour and remove yourself from this sector or lift your game.

Everything went smoothly. I get to choose between multiple platforms through different accounts. Assistance was always very fast and by humans, solved all my "problems" almost instantly.

Premium accounts are very good compared to what you can find on other propfirms.

So far, it's not been the best but not the worst either.

Big Issue up front - I had purchased an account before the 2.0 switch that they released 2 days later. It switches and leaves me in the old setup instead of Switching to the 2.0? Apparently, I have to pay again to gain access to the premium (swing account) that I already have paid for and passed to gain access to Tradingview. At least give the people who have paid already an option to switch or give them Login information for that since they are already members more on that further down.

1. Minimum days to pass - Phidias claims that there is no minimum day requirement to pass your eval. but I met mine on day 2 and still had to wait an additional 24 hours to get the eval passed after well passing the target as it showed it required 3 days to pass.

2. No activation fee - I find it unfair that you want to trade with this prop firm and meet the target for it and then still I have to pay another $149 for an activation fee? One-time payments are the only ones that have the free activation, and I find that a little insincere.

3. customer service - Takes a while but is friendly but often asks for pictures. It's an account issue there and they should be able to see this on the server side. quite annoying to not have live customer service and only get replies 24 HRS after you request service.

4. Swing traders - At least this was done correctly. In the many things that aren't going as planned. at least they did allow overnight holding as well as news trading like they said.

5. Tradovate and tradingview - They just started using tradovate and trading view which is good as you can connect it to trading view now (my preferred platform). The only issue is that I can't find a detailed way to start using trad ovate with the rhythmic accounts. It would be much more stable than the platforms that are connected now and needs to have more information on how to switch if you were using another platform before the switch.

Overall, There are some major red flags here when it comes to what they have but I'm going to see how this is resolved and update the post here.

Update: OTP (one time payment) accounts are the only ones that can get the activation fee waived. I went to get the activation done and was forced to wait 3 hrs. because they said they already attempted to switch it and to try again then. Quite insulting to do that to your traders who were asking about it.

update 2: I contacted support to get the account switched over and they just simply replied that I MUST wait 3 hrs. even though I tried to contact support to ask about the fee and it timed out. Quite concerning and aggravating as a trader. Definitely lessened my opinion on this firm.

Update 3: Once I switch to the cash account I will be able to use tradingview with my account from what ive been told.

By this point there are many firms that have an activation free subscription. The ONLY thing that is really separating these guys is the ability to swing trade which is my preferred style of trading.

That company recently started to scam people by banning them from the discord and deleting there accounts.

My first $10,000 payout with Phidias was approved, confirmed, and shown as credited to my Phidias Wallet. I traded about two months on five funded $50K accounts to get there. The money never reached me.

On 22 April, Phidias emailed me that my payout request was successfully registered and being processed. The same day, they sent a cash withdrawal confirmation saying the funds were successfully processed and credited to my Phidias Wallet.

After that, I waited. The payment did not arrive. Support kept turning it into alleged Rise/payment connection issues or pending status in their system. I sent the proof they asked for: Rise was ready to receive payments and the documents were already signed. It still just got dragged out.

After I had already been waiting unpaid for around one and a half weeks, Phidias listed me publicly in their April top 5 payouts leaderboard with a $10,000 payout using my full name. They used this unpaid payout in their marketing (Discord and emails), although I never received any money.

I tried to solve it privately first. I sent and answered 30+ emails, then went to their Discord support because email was going nowhere. Every answer became another delay, another supposed setup issue, or pending/internal update.

The last answer I got from Discord support was to wait 24-48 business hours until I would get payed. After that, I woke up the next morning banned from their Discord. The support messages were deleted, my Phidias account was locked so I could no longer log in, and they have not answered any of my messages since.

Phidias approved my payout, showed it as credited, advertised it publicly, dragged out the actual payment with supposed setup/pending issues, then banned me, locked me out, deleted the support
messages, and stopped answering me. I am still unpaid.

Until this is resolved, I would warn other traders not to trust Phidias payout marketing.

Update: After their public reply, I contacted Phidias again through every available channel and did not receive a single response. The only response I received was the public one under this review, while the approved payout still remains unpaid.

Update: Phidias changed there response after my update in this review. I tried to contact PPhidias in every possible way, sent them proof for everything again. I still got not a single response. Its clear that they wont pay the payout. There only publicly responding under this review.

Customer support was prompt and ive had no trouble with my accounts!

I bought new account today 17 April 26 25K static and I was on MNQ chart placed my first trade on MNQ but it opened on NQ and I was risking 10 Points but they slipped me and got it closed at Max loss limit, slippage after 8 minute of market open and they open trade on NQ no wise person will trade NQ mini on 500$ drawdown they are clearly scamming people out of money dont trust them.

Edit after their reply: I have contacted the support team through email but they replied "our system detected that a trade of 1 contract was executed on the NQ symbol, and this resulted in reaching your maximum loss limit. That is why your account now shows a breached status.

i bought an account on Saturday afternoon. its now Sunday and 8 hours into the futures opening . i was given a rithmic user name and password to first sign my agreements. i tried the credentials on the Rtrader downloaded site, the web app and the Rtrader website. they all failed to log me in. i checked the user name and password several times and copied and manually entered them. Still no login. The frustrating part is I've had accounts with my funded futures and funded next and they got back to me very fast! initially when i sent an email to support at Phidias( they have no live chat), their response, which was quick enough, was worthless: i was told to try to log in again! that's it! and I've sent them screen shots of my user name and password( that they sent me) sitting in the failed log in, in all the sites: web app, Rtrader log in. and Rtrader website. And now its 7 1/2 hrs later and i still haven't heard a word!
Well, now its over 10 hrs. and I still haven't been able to log into the R trader web app or the website to sign the agreements. I sent them, plain as day, screen shots of my username and password being rejected with login failed. One agent told me that the user name must start with PHD and that's why I can't get in. Then, another agent told me no, the PP user name we sent you is correct. But clearly it wasn't and all they had to do was look at my screen shot to see the PP username is not correct. So, bottom line is 10 hrs. later and i still have no way to access my account, and there not doing anything about it! So, i am demanding my money via a refund. How can i trust they will follow through with any payout, or anything else that comes up, if there failing at the starting gate! Also, there website doesn't work properly. You click a tab and it goes there but the highlighted tab is stuck on the 10k challenge tab. Red flags everywhere!! Very unlike my funded futures or funded next which i have/had accounts with. I really liked the payout and targets here on Phidias, but this has turned me off to going any further!

Had a great experience including a payout. However, had some issues with Rithimic and their connection issues with data that was paid for and the severe lag that is a constant issue with this particular platform. Contacted Phidias twice concerninig the issue both times denied any issue whatsoever. Straight up refused any resolution to their connection issue and known outdated connection protocols for a platform they know has issue but still promotes it as its the best out there. Both instinces they were provided proof of issues and both times denied the issue outright! Dont trade with Phidias as the first issue with any connection issue or etc., dont worry, its your fault! They will take your money. I trade with multiple firms with 0 issues on any other platform other than the 2 they offer. Proof can be provided! P.S. The default message you get as a reply for a negative review, its bullsht as well!
