THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY, DO NOT ADD YOUR PAYMENT INFO IN THEIR WEBSITE. I have canceled my subscription many times and yet they are charging my card. Even taking money 2 times in a row. If you want to cancel subscription, there is no real button for that and you just have ro read articles of how to do it. I almost canceled it 10 times yet they chaege me. I have contacted help, yet no response. It is a nightmare. I am trying to contact authorities to make a legal complaint otherwise they will be stealing whatever I have in card.

Absolutely disgusted by the predatory subscription model of this app. The cancellation process is intentionally designed to be confusing. I was charged £69.99 without a clear warning and have been fighting with their AI bot for over an hour just to get a refund. Their "support" is just a loop of automated messages denying any help. This is a total scam. If you value your money, do NOT install this app. 1 star is way too high for this kind of business practice.

PLEASE DO NOT PAY THEM MONEY. As soon as you subscribe, ALL the amazing features you’ve been using for free get turned off and you have you pay a ton more to get very little. I used the app for free for months and it was incredible. The moment I paid to subscribe, the app became unusable cause they want you to pay more and more and more just to get half the features you got before paying. I’ll be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges. Total scam.

Find another app to spend your money on
This company is the worst. I've been waiting 3 days to get reconnected to an app they acknowledge I've paid for and is an active subscription, but which for some reason has dropped me. They also changed the terms I subscribed to, partway through my subscription, giving me fewer options. I could go on, but the customer service is quite literally the worst I've ever experienced.

Two Years as a Customer — Very Disappointing Ending
I used PhotoRoom for about two years and subscribed to all available plans and add-ons. However, over the last couple of weeks the background generation quality has dropped to the level of the free V3 version — blurry textures, unclear objects, and generally poor results.
Because of this, I cancelled my MAX subscription about two weeks before the next billing period. Despite that, PhotoRoom immediately disabled my paid subscription and effectively took away the remaining two weeks that I had already paid for.
This feels extremely unprofessional. A company that positions itself as a tool for professionals should treat its paying users much more fairly. Unfortunately, in my experience the service quality has declined significantly and the way they handled the subscription cancellation was very disappointing.

When I first used this it was great but haven’t used it so cancelled my subscription still got charged and requested a refund which they put through same day got the email and saw it on my statement next day it disappeared don’t deal with this company seems very dishonest

Changed terms midway through annual subscription
I loved this app, using it ONLY to remove backgrounds in batch processing for my small business. I paid an annual subscription. They changed the terms midway in my subscription, limiting my processing, which would force me to change to a much more expensive plan. They told me they did this due to additional AI features! I don’t use them for that. I will be looking elsewhere for the basic features I need. So wrong to change terms when you paid annually.

Now why can’t I give zero stars. ??? I am absolutely gobsmacked that this company has a 5 star review rating.
The say it is a free trial but even after you cancel - they ignore that and charge you anyway. Then - go ahead and try to find some way to get your money back. Good luck with that. They will not respond to emails and have hidden customer support chat somewhere deep inside the application. This application believes it is too “highly valued” to accept email addresses from Yahoo. They are snotty scam artists. I truly wish my experience was different. BACK AWAY FROM THIS APP. I fully expect they must be deleting anything but 5 star reviews. I do not believe my experience is unusual.

DO NOT DO A FREE TRIAL!! I tried to cancel before the trial ended and it’s incredibly difficult. I couldn’t cancel in time and was charged nearly $90. I emailed customer service because I couldn’t cancel on my own and the response was that I needed to use the chat feature. Used the chat feature and have had no assistance. To cancel on my own I’m stuck in a loop of cancellation articles. It’s incredibly disturbing how difficult this is. Do. Not. Use.

Photoroom tried to charge my credit card even though I had canceled my trial subscription and received the cancellation confirmation email a week before the original trial period was scheduled to end. This is a highly unethical behavior from a company. I would trust these scammers. Their photo services just uses Google’s Banana AI which I already paid for through Google anyways—and was why I canceled my trial subscription after I had signed up for the trial and was able to see the actual features in the plan.

At nearly £5 a week I expect an app to do what I want. I don't expect after 2 days of use for it to be telling me I've used up 80% of data and need to wait for the rest of the week to go by and pay again or upgrade. Further, if I've uploaded a model I want to use to display my clothing, I don't expect Photoroom to keep changing their face. So much time is wasted. If you want to try it, try it for just 1 week and be sure to cancel your subscription within 7 days unless it's perfect for your needs.

Beware..It's a Scam Read the reviews!
Paid for membership and immediately it wouldnt let me access the ghost mannequin section says i needed to upgrade. I paid for the Max service that includes this option. Submitted a ticket and was told issue would be resolved in a few hours. Not resolved, cant use, cant get a response. Beware.... this is another hack service that is a fraud!
Scam, you sign up and then keep paying even after the yearly charge.
A brilliant App, but here is the scam, and that what I will call it.
You sign up. You then pay yearly charge quite expensive. Once you start using (in my case a small business) I then get a message that I have used up 88% of my usage, so pay more money and keep paying.
Disgusted.
Not recommended.
When the app worked, it was good, but then got very buggy and would frequently freeze up and you would have to close it to re-do what you had been working on. And canceling? If you have auto-billing keep an eye out, because they will bill you anyway after canceling.
