Linda Chew recently represented us in our house sale and was fantastic. It was far from the simplest transaction, and we had a few hiccups along the way caused by the buyers, but Linda was professional and friendly from start to finish. She was very fair with her fees and ensured we received the interest owed to us by the buyers when they tried to push back the completion date. We would highly recommend her and would definitely use her in the future.

Having been very happy with previous service and having recommended the firm to others , we returned to them to use same solicitor who we found had unfortunately moved on.

Believing we’d get same service as nonetheless carried on.

A simple procedure took far too long and we were wrongly charged - overcharged - - on querying fees being much higher than we were lead to believe and far far higher than similar matter with more work in previous situation, we were told matter wouldn’t be concluded unless we accepted the charges.

This overcharging/ wrongfully applied charge and failure to progress matters was accepted by senior partner and reversed and a different charge added instead.

A sum offered in compensation. At a time of grief we just wanted the matter concluded not realising if we accepted this sum this would go against us when raising the issue with the ombudsman.

Billing came as a shock as we weren’t sent statements each month only a total at conclusion. Had to ask for a breakdown of costs but they were of little help.

Slow to respond to complaint procedure and having offered compensation we were told the solicitor concerned had been asked to amend the account and pay it we had to chase this

After bereavement just gave up pursuing things too upsetting.

I speak from personal experience, Kim Louise Mansfield kept me sane through the most traumatic period of my life, giving me hope, confidence and strength. Felt like a friend from the moment I walked into her office and needed someone to offer me straight talking advice with no cotton wool!
I came away from every meeting feeling like a giant weight had been lifted. Cannot thank this woman enough x
