Excellent sevrvice ,very professional helpful plumber

It's been 5 days and I had to do multiple chase up to get response from plumber. Only today he has agreed to get send quotes and I am yet to receive it. Bad customer service.

Highly professional service. Outstanding quality of work.

The guy did well BUT when he flushed the toilets he should have had a back up plan - the toilets proved to be blocked and the cistern faulty, which led to one of the toilets filling up - initially with clean water, but then sewage water, which overflowed onto the floor. I think he should have had a plan for this so that any excess water could have been siphoned or vacuumed or pumped to the bath or somewhere else. I mopped up most of it, but not all, so some leakage through the ceiling to our apartment occurred.

No respect whatsoever for covid, he was getting very close to us, had his mask off, and was saying that he didn't care about it. We had no running water when they came, he spent 3 hours was trying to stretch things that wouldn't reach, and only managed to change a tap, which has now broken a week later. There was no running water upstairs, and they charged us £400 to to change a tap!! Horrible company whose customer service is also a complete shambles!

Please do not use this company for the following reasons :

- Not Covid friendly protective. Mask was not covering his nose. Even made jokes about people dying. Insensitive.

- Took 3 hours just to change a kitchen tap with a bill of £400.

- Plummer advised to change the bolts due to leaking but then wanted to put them back on when he realised the valves where the wrong size

- Spent half an hour buying the correct size when B and Q was just the road and came back smelling of cigarettes

- Kitchen sink is now loose a week later and tired to call to book a job with another person it they have no availability.

- Don’t follow through to take responsibility or cannot speak to someone in authority only via email.

- It was a genuine error I used this company as I meant to call Plumb4U who were excellent.

Although I have had a lot of stress, since my review Sassy in customer service has promptly rectified the issues so I wanted to give credit where it’s due.

Plumber was great. Professional, clear and did the job quickly.

I contacted plumbers 4 U as there was a fault with my Vaillant boiler. They appeared under a different name on Google search. They said that there would be no call out fee and they would charge £80 an hour for work. Their engineer attended and looked at the boiler and said that I would need work to my whole system that would cost me around £1000, they would return later in the week but I would have to pay £100 deposit and £102 for the engineer to attend my property. I said that I would call the company but the engineer said that he wanted cash. I called the company and paid £202 by phone. In the evening a received a call from another plumber who I had left a message for earlier in the day, he said that he would come over and look at the problem. He fixed it for £150. I cancelled Plumbers 4 U and to their credit they returned the £100 deposit but the £102 call out fee - a complete waste of money. If I had handed over the cash demanded by the engineer I expect that I would have lost the lot. I cannot recommend this company - Avoid!

Contacted the agency to help with a clogged toilet. Was charged £120 for the service but the problem was not resolved. The guys came in a second time and even after that the problem persisted. The plumber suggested a change of the toilet. However, in a couple of days I bought a plunger and the toilet is now unclogged and working just fine.

I called this company for emergency repairs to my boiler as I didn’t have any heating. I explained the error code over the phone and was told they were familiar with this problem and the plumber would fix be able to it. The plumber turns up, doesn’t speak much English and presses the reset button a few times. Tells me it will cost £600-£700 for repairs and asked why I didn’t have cover with British Gas. He says it’s better I go to British Gas or someone else as it’ll be cheaper. Then proceeds to charge me £85 plus VAT which is his hourly call out charge. He wasn’t there for more than 15 minutes. Complete waste of time and totally incompetent plumber

The engineer arrived on time and called me to let me know he is on his way. Once he arrived he quickly did the checks and has been honest as the issue was not easy to spot and resolve. He called and made videos and pictures which he shared with his colleague until hje found a solution and fixed the boiler. Excellent service.

Fixed the problem quickly, very helpful. Great service!

This is the second time I use their service for them to come in, take a look and say there's nothing they can do and charge the housecall fee.
I had a major leak coming from upstairs, and the guy said it was due to condensation, as if condensation could accumulate so fast and so much. A proper contractor finally found a broken pump.
Definitely not recommended

I had a leak from the heating pump and could not stop the water pouring out even with the mains turned off. I called and ask how long a wait for an emergency plumber? Was told should be 45mins to 1hr. I said the water is going everywhere and was assured plumber would come. It took nearly 3hrs and was just constantly miss lead on the phone when I kept calling to ask where was the plumber. The plumber actually told me that they miss lead the customer to get the job and he was not round the corner as told but in central London. Will never use again, would never recommend to anyone. They even miss lead me on the cost by not saying there was vat to be added to their charger.
Find yourself a local plumber you can trust and use again and again.

He new what he was doing and he did a great job.

Very quick to respond, polite and helpful when explaining the problem would definitely use again
