Tired of riders asking for booking…
Tired of riders asking for booking without app, there should be no messaging allowed driver should just mentioned their pickup and drop off places talk to driver later if it's possible, if want to drive 6 hrs I need rest before drive rather than responding to messages
Mostly for doing cash or doing pickup and drop off to their home riders don't understand that not easy to do it, got my account suspended because of that

Our in-app messaging system is intended to help clarify trip details before a ride, such as luggage allowance or pickup references, not to confirm bookings outside the app. If a member requests external payments or custom services, you can decline the booking and use the report feature in the app so our team can review it.
Accounts are suspended after multiple warnings for repeated breaches of our Terms of Service, such as requesting payments outside the app or sharing phone numbers before a booking. The app is designed with reminders of these rules when posting trips and interacting with others, and these reminders also serve as automatic warnings to help prevent suspension.

Poparide is fantastic
Poparide is fantastic. With two kids in university, each about 2 hours away in opposite directions, I was spending a lot of time alone in the car on the way to pick them up or after dropping them off. This app has allowed me to meet so many amazing people. I’ve heard very interesting stories from such a wide variety of riders. It’s also given me an opportunity to help a few young people who were brand new to the country and half a world away from home. I haven’t had a bad passenger yet. The Poparide team is responsive to any issues and continues to make improvements to the experience.

Best app for carpooling
Best app for carpooling. I mostly drive and take rides sometimes. Everyone I've carpooled with have been awesome. This app makes it all easy to happen.

Poparide is a great option for budget traveller if you need a ride quick and cheap, service is great (in Canada) and you may get pick up/drop off at your desire location as well. Highly recommend

I've used Poparide 3 times now to…
I've used Poparide 3 times now to travel between Ottawa and Montreal and I have no complaints about the service. It's very easy to use and safe. My only complaint is that the service fee is $5 and rides are usually $25-$30. The fee is a bit expensive relative to the price of the ride, but a $35 2 hour car ride is much cheaper and faster than a $55-$60 3 hour bus ride.
