I’ve had a mix of experiences with Poparide, but the reason I’d recommend it is the amazing drivers I’ve met—about 80% of my rides were with really kind, professional people who truly deserve recognition.

That said, I recently had a very concerning experience involving safety. My boyfriend was driven by someone different from the person listed on the profile, which is extremely dangerous. On top of that, the driver made three people sit in a row even though the listing said a maximum of two. While many drivers are excellent, incidents like this highlight serious safety issues that Poparide needs to address.

Another downside is that negative experiences don’t seem to receive follow-up from Poparide, which makes writing reviews feel a bit pointless. I hope the platform improves this system, so both good and bad experiences are properly acknowledged, making the service safer and more reliable for everyone.

I recommend this app. At first I was not sure but the whole process is well thought through for both drivers and riders. I had a good first experience.

poparide is a great example of keeping it simple. pays well and very user friendly.

First time ride so I was apprehensive how it all worked. Daniel picked me up in Coleman, Alberta and got me to my Calgary destination. Safe driver, comfortable truck, pleasant conversation! Love poparide, it has made my intercity movements easy and stress-free

Honestly, this is an amazing concept and app. I've only taken rides so far and the rides are safe and economical. They are not timely as other ride sharing apps as there maybe other passengers in the car but if timing isn't a concern, this app is great.

I took a trip with this dude named Yang. I waited 30 passed pickup time and he never showed up so i left and asked a refund. This guy decided to lie and say he did pick me up. Now poparide has decided to give him my money when the guy never picked me up and i had to find myself another ride the next day! And they even suspended my account. Worst company i ever dealt with.
