Really pleased to have found the Armaco velvet underglazes I was looking for at a very competitive price. However, what made my first experience of purchasing from Potclays so positive was the service I received from Sarah who went out of her way to assist me with my order - thank you Sarah ☺️

I'd just thought i'd spend a minute to say that the customer service at Potclays was sincerely wonderful. There was a slight error with one of my glazes that i bought, and the wrong one was sent in error. I contacted Potclays and Sarah S. immediately sent me the correct product - absolutely no hassle or fuss - she simply sorted everything in minutes. In addition, the speed of dealing with the issue was amazingly fast with the replacement glaze being delivered to me in hours (honest - that fast!). In a world in which almost every digital interaction is a pain for me, Potclays and more specifically Sarah restored my faith in online shopping and wider customer service experiences!! Great customer service, Sarah Simcock was particularly helpful with my urgent order which was much appreciated. They have a great range of products at competitive prices.

I always have the very best experience with Potclay. The team are they incredibly knowledgeable and super helpful. Delivery is efficient and fast and if an item isn’t in stock you’ll get a phone call to discuss options. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Prices and stock are good but delivery times for in stock items can be painfully slow. Takes ages for them to dispatch orders so if you want something within a week then dont bother even if its in stock. Bought from them around 6x now and it's consistently like this but luckily I rarely need stuff in a rush. Feel like they need another staff member just handling dispatching if they keep saying high demand is the cause.

Only place I could find a lustre eraser. Off home to NZ in a few days. Spoke on phone and are dispatching so arrives before I leave.

Potclays has a wide variety of excellent products in stock. And the prices are great! The service is fast and very friendly. When I put in my order, they get it to me in Norway in an extremely fast manner. The only problem is that I might go bancrupt because they have soooo much good pottery stuff. I think I am addicted! 🥰

Potclays has great products but the deliveries are sometimes slow. I needed a product urgently and I contacted customer service to inquire on speed of delivery. Sarah and Fern in customer services expedited the order which I received very quickly.
One of the very nice thing about Potclays is the ease of acces to customer services and the quality of the people who work in it: they are friendly and efficient.

When I wanted to change my online order at Potclays yesterday, I was given excellent service, with Sarah, the sales advisor, going above and beyond to try to find stock and making the changes in a friendly and efficient way. I have always received excellent service from Potclays when ordering my supplies

I baught a s105 kiln from potclays 26 years ago. It has been a disaster since day one. The elements keeps sliding out from the shelves and need to be supported to keep them on place. One need to build protection every 7-8 cm along the shelves to prevent short circuit due to the elements getting in touch with eachother. The Kanthal wire coming with the kiln and new ones in orders is to thin for this type of kiln. I tried to tell potclays in phone conversations some years ago, but they wouldnt listen. Some elements even gets broken after just one fire. They just break of, with no short circuit . I sent potclays pictures of these errors some years ago. Still they wouldnt replace the elements. It becomes very expensive to be their customer when each element costs 55 GBP. I grew up in a potter family and learnt how to fix kilns from early age on. Luckily! If not, the cost of an electrican would reach the price of the kiln after 10 fireings. I would not be lying if I say that in 75 % of the times I fire there is something wrong with this kiln, often leading to an interuption of the fireing. In comparison, the kiln we have at school where I work, not even ONE element has been broken in 14 years! Also worth mentioning that the kiln at school, with 500 kids, is much more in use than mine. The fireing temperature I use is 1240C. The school uses 1220C. so this should not be a big issue. The kiln has destroyed much of my inspiration, products and put me on a nerve every time I fire. I will now buy a new kiln and it will not be from potclays. I will recomend to stay far away from the s105 kiln they sell.

I regularly buy my pottery supplies from this company in fact I use no other. As a miniaturist I only need small quantities which is no problem here and the quality is first class, brilliant customer service too, thank you.
