Okay experience
The food is tasty, there are many rotating meals to choose from. I think that's great. The delivery has been a problem for me. My items were left in the sun 3 times. Despite the delivery company being asked to leave the boxes in a better place. Additionally, one of these times all the food was ruined and the replacement box was then lost in transit. I waited at home the entire day in order to receive the replacement box. Though the company has offered a free week it still leaves me scrambling for meals during a busy time. Also, I think better shipping materials could be used to mitigate or prevent the overheating of the food.

That said, it's disappointing to hear about the delivery issues you've experienced. Having boxes left in direct sunlight, especially after delivery instructions have been provided, is not the standard we expect. We also understand how frustrating it must have been to have a replacement order lost in transit and to be left without meals during a busy period, despite setting aside time to receive it.
While we're glad our team was able to offer a free week, we appreciate that this doesn't fully make up for the inconvenience caused. We carry out quality checks before dispatch and use insulated packaging to keep meals chilled, but we're always reviewing both our packaging and delivery processes to improve reliability and protect orders during transit.
Thank you again for your balanced feedback. We aim to provide both great-tasting meals and dependable service, so it's disappointing to hear we've fallen short on this occasion.

I missed the deadline to cancel my…
I missed the deadline to cancel my subscription and a pending payment was showing with my bank that I couldn't afford to hsve taken. I emailed Prep kitchen to cancel payment and subscription and within minutes the lovely Rebecca replied to say payment reversed and subscription cancelled. She was courteous and understanding and didn't quibble with my request. I will return to Prep kitchen in the near future as the meals and service are outstanding 👌

Good Food Great Service
Service from prep is great, good delivered on time and communicated by DPD to give me a slot and delivery optons. Food is excellent. The only reason I didn't say great is that it doesn't always look like the chef's photos. That is totally understandable as its deliverd, so it will get shaken up. That doesn't detract from the taste, which is great and the macro nutrients are spot on.

Avoid unless you want to spend your weekends fighting for refunds you are owed.
The food itself from Prep Kitchen is actually very tasty, but their customer service and billing team are an absolute shambles. After receiving a damaged meal, I spent days arguing with support about a messed-up invoice. I was explicitly promised in writing by an agent named Gemma that I would receive 12 meals this Sunday as compensation.
My box has just arrived today and contains only 10 meals. They have charged me full price, sent zero compensation, and when I tried to call their helpline to sort it out, the automated system just hung up on me. Total breach of what was agreed in writing. Avoid unless you want to spend your weekends fighting for refunds you are owed.

Genuinely impressed. The future for me.
I've been using Prep Kitchen for a month now and I am so happy I took the chance. I'm currently working two full time jobs, so time has become extremely precious to me. Initially I hardly ate and when I did I ate rubbish. I figured for the price of a few good takeaways it was worth a try. I've been blown away. Every meal has been ridiculously tasty, the trays are sturdy I just eat straight out of it. There is a huge mix of textures and veg, grains and sauce in each meal and THERE IS SO MUCH MEAT! I'm on the large meal, and I was nervous I was going to feel hungry or feel ripped off. Each meal has been a welcome surprise, I've been full, and haven't had a takeaway this month... I actually look forward to my prep kitchen meal all day 🤣 truly think this is the future!

The food is of a quality standard. delivery every Sunday without fail it's there. There is no need to worry as the package is well boxed so it stays cold for hours. And callum after sales service was amazing.

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service.
When I missed a delivery because of DPD and it was no fault of Prep they automatically sent me a new box and were so response I could not fault it.
Any time I’ve emailed a member of the team has always gotten back to me so quickly it’s really good customer service.
As for the meals, I like the variety, they are tasty and feel healthy and filling enough considering I’m trying to lose weight. I’m happy to continue using Prep kitchen for the foreseeable.
