It is a really easy to use, solid and flexible platform, with many possibilities for adaptation with new projects. It really is an e-commerce solution that we like a lot.

Great open source platform. I managed to create a fully customised process integrating PrestaShop back-end with the front end of another platform.

For me, Prestashop is the best E-commerce software.

Like many developers who post a review here i have to agree Prestashop is bad. People who just use themes dont understand but under the hood this system and many modules prestashop allows to be posted on their site have have terrible code/ modules. Furthermore prestashop doenst allow a return of money if something isnt as advertised. meaning if you wanna scam use prestashop addon system. you can freely do so and prestashop wont lift a finger

I have been designing websites for 26 years and I have never had so many problems with installing a new system as with Prestashop. What a nightmare. And no one is repsonsible or helping. I paid in the end 99 Euros and an agent promised all my problems would be solved. What I got in the end was the team at Prestashop told me there were so many errors on my site that it would cost a lot more to fix it.

I did scrap my site and start all over from scratch. I ended up using same theme developer again.

Now I am having all sorts of strange problems - again.

Having worked with website development for 26 years, I know all the excuses I am getting are simply total nonsense and I am really fedup with the system and I can not recommend it as NOTHING works out of the box. Really horrible if you want to try to save money. Not to be recommened and I know what I am talking about with my many years of experience.

I have worked with Megento, CS cart = both beautiful systems though the new Magento is full of bugs and not to be recommened. CS cart is really a beauty with all of these but sadly so few are designing modules/scripts for it hence I had to try to use Prestashop, but having so much problems now for about 6-7 months when I am used to setup site in 7 days and finished - I cant believe this bad work. And the worst of all - no one is taking responsibility of bad non functional models and themes.

A theme programmer did even "fix" his module and then overwrite all my translations. When I asked why he had done that, he said I had to to renew the module, but everyone knows that you can take backup of translations and add after, which he did not. Unbelievable.

And yes. I did ask for a refund on service which was not as promised. I stil have not seen the refund.

I did ask for refund on something else as well. They were lucky enough to not have to pay refund as it had gone 6 months since I tried setting up this website. Hence they did "not have to refund" a module which did cost a fortune and not working at all almost 300 Euros and it is still not working as I tried using it again after scrapping my first site.

I am also reading a lot in complaints here. A stupid thing as "if you have downloaded the module you can not get a refund" haha that is very tragic. As obviously you need to test things to see if it is working and if you want refund - you must have tested and seen it was not working and sometimes it takes many months of investigation to figure out what was causing damage.

And even though I complained about a certain module not working at all, it is still being sold and still not working. Very very strange quality assurance at Prestashop.

And yes. I have spent 1668,26 Euros in Prestashop site for a single website and still it is not working. What a shame. And I do have 26 years of experience.

Feels a lot like fraud.

We have been using Prestashop from last 5-6 years and found it really a great eCommerce platform, it's easy to use and has the vast majority of modules are available as per the need.

We are surely going to recommend this to everybody.

I have been using the CMS, PrestaShop for 8 years. This is the CMS I have found best. It has all the features that one needs to get a professional website. I would definitely recommend others to use PrestaShop.

I took 1 day 'START' training for and from Prestashop. This training was quite complete and gave me all the necessary information to use prestashop back office and was a very good overview of prestashop functionalities.

Very glad to use PrestaShop for 3 years now. I've been working quite a lot to develop 2 different websites, and the marketplace has been a really good help to improve the quality of services. I'm going to upgrade soon to the 1.7.7, which for me looks even better!

The best partner to make the e commerce business grow!

I've been creating sites with PrestaShop for my customers for many years and so far is the best choice on software I ever made. PrestaShop is great in many ways, but mainly because of its backoffice usability and ability to be easily extended by choosing from a huge selection of available addons and templates. If the solution is not in their marketplace, you can craft if yourself without much effort.

For a month I have been trying to get them to return money for non-working modules! They post modules on their website addons.prestashop.com/ that are not working. When you apply to them for a refund, they waste time and do not return the money. I advise you to be very careful with these scammers. I have already lost hope, I will probably write a statement to interpol, on the fact of fraud!

I've been relying on PrestaShop for many years and my overall experience is excellent. That said, you have to be aware that PrestaShop is an ever-evolving open-source platform. You may encounter issues here and there but there is a strong community to help you deal with them.

I thought I'll give Prestashop the benefit of the doubt and after my previous negative experience, where I lost over 70 Euros, I purchased another module from the Prestashop addons marketplace. The result is the same. The module doesn't work and the developer, as the one before, is totally unhelpful. This one is also asking for FTP and Back office access, even though their module is clearly broken and they can easily reproduce the issue if they tried. Prestashop marketplace is the best place for you if you're a scammer or a thief. just sell a broken module or a broken theme, ask for access and soon you have permanent access to customer data and all website metrics, including DB access, as this is easy to get if you have FTP access. Preatashop don't give a hoot about your security. They're in it for the money. Nothing else. I honestly believe the positive reviews here are fake.

EDIT: Don't be fooled that you can get your money back. You won't! If you have a workinng brain, ypu won't give the scammers FTP and BO access. And that's the trick. If yoou don't, they don't have to refund you. Prestashop give you the option to either:
1 - Loose your money and keep your online shop safe;
2 - Let a scammer access your server and Back Office and risk they'll steal data or embed anything they like on your server. Be it illegal porn, cryptocurrency miners, spam bots, you name it.

Each System has ups and downs, but I have been from a long time so satisfied with a customer service offered by a team like teh one of Prestashop. Special Thanks to Nicolas Sawicki - He moved the moon in order to help us out with a delicate problem.
