DATA BREACH!! PERSONAL INFO AT RISK!!!

I just found out that my account was involved in a data breach back in 2020. I was only alerted now. I went to delete my account and had to message a representative. They said my account was already deleted....but, I was literally logged into my account messaging them. Their response? "That's not possible. Your account is deleted." You know what's NOT possible? Logging into an account if your account is deleted, unless a new one is created, which I did NOT do. So recommendation: if you want your information involved in a data breach, go ahead, order from these guys. If not, steer clear. Once you create an account and your email address is in their database...that's it.

False advertising

I've been a supporter of Primecables for years, mostly because is was told they carried the same products as Monoprice in the States (they carry very few things, especially now in 2025) but i found their prices were amazing and they USED to stand behind their products and offer a lifetime guarantee. Well, that's all changed in 2025. Now it's a fight to warranty a product and i find they make false advertisements for products with reduced prices that do NOT match their website. Recently, i had 2 power delivery cables fail that i bought about a year ago.... no luck on exchange for warranty purposes. 10 years ago, if i sent an email and it was their product, they would send a replacement free of charge with free shipping. I know times change and the economic climate has changed, but they should modify their policies and advertisements to be more transparent.

They also advertise a club membership now.... i find it very misleading. I had a few things in my cart and a popup appeared saying "join" their membership for a year at a set fee and the products in my cart will have "x" as a price (where "x" is the advertised reduced member pricing ), which will pay for your membership fee plus give you the bonus of reduced membership pricing for the next year. So i started the process and the added savings never matches their projected amounts. I cancelled and returned to paying the regular sale prices.

Over the last 2 days, i've been arguing over the advertised cost of a miniPC. THEIR email advertises a 20% sale for PreBlack Friday. The PC is 459.95 and its CLEARLY written on their email what the price is. When you click their link, it takes you to their website with a price of 610. I started a chat on Day 1 and was told the price would change in 24 hours at 10 am. I logged in today, Day 2, and no reduced price. I spent an hour on chat and was asked to send a pic, forward the email, highlight the advertised price... The chat said they could not see the price reduction... They couldn't see a JPEG image? I could understand if they clicked the hyperlink and the price would come up incorrectly, but they couldn't see the image THEY made on the original email? Apparently not. After multiple attempts to send a copy of their email, I was eventually offered the ability to buy the product at regular price and then trust them to refund me an adjusted amount. I didn't take it. Why trust a company that has shown they can't be trusted? I asked them to send a link or email to my account to ensure no errors if something occurs to disconnect us. Guess what... i got disconnected!! luckily i logged back in and got the same chat person, but that just destroyed my trust and i left their website. I would avoid Primecables, 123ink, and Shoppersplus, the same company offering different products.

Their products are so high-end quality that I can't possibly see anyone complaint on anything here. If you had a bad experience in the past, don't worry about it - Shopper+ strive to make things better working out any feedback you may have. Enjoy your shopping! RCstar

Clunky, overbloated, cheap

A clunky, overbloated, cheap Amazon clone that hardly functions as an alternative due to its inability to manage inventory and distribution. Terrible experience, would not recommend, especially if you're relying on items arriving.

Deceptive Marketing Practices

I purchased two sets of food storage containers at 50% off ($25+txs/set) and a bit later, the exact same containers were at 57% off but priced at $9. I paid $50+txs for what I could have paid $20 for. Furthermore, the containers were not airtight as advertised. I also purchased other items from Shopper+ and the quality was not there.

Reliable customer service

I have been ordering for several years cartridges (Moustache) for my printer Canon without any problem.

The last order had disappeared. I called saying I still hadn't received it, but they showed me it had been delivered (someone must have stolen it).

They sent me back my order without any discussion.

Shortly afterwards, I contacted Canon to help me solve a printer problem. They just told me that I had to use Canon cartridges, that the problem was due to the ink.

So I contacted Shopper+. The customer service agent was very helpful. I sent him an e-mail with the details of the problem and he forwarded it to the product support team.

After a brief cordial exchange and advice on cleaning, the problem was solved. Now the print is perfect again.

I'm very happy to have been able to count on the support of the Shopper+ team.

Appalling

Appalling. A part broke and they refused to help because it was a gift. Requested that I purchase the part and was told they don’t sell the model.

Curious how they were able to identify the model from a single photograph of a single generic connecting part.

They also asked a question about he damage that I had clearly stated in my original two paragraph email.

Not sure if they are using a poor AI to send these replies or just employing incompetent staff.

My first experience with Shopper+ was very frustrating.

My first experience with Shopper+ was unfortunately extremely disappointing. I placed an order on March 14th and waited patiently for delivery. When it didn't arrive, I reached out only to find out the order had been cancelled because my billing and shipping addresses didn't match. I understand this is a fraud prevention measure, but the real issue is I was never notified of the cancellation by email, text, or call. Even more troubling, my credit card had already been charged for the cancelled order, and I was initially told I'd need to re-order—and thus pay again—despite having already been charged once.

The customer service interaction that followed was very frustrating. I experienced long delays (waiting around 20 minutes just to start a chat), had to repeat my questions several times, and dealt with frequent long pauses in conversation. While the representatives were polite, the overall handling of my problem lacked professionalism, thoroughness, and promptness.

When I escalated my concerns to customer service management, the manager’s reply was defensive rather than accountable. They initially insisted my refund had been issued promptly upon order cancellation—however, a quick check with my credit card company proved the refund was only initiated after my complaint was made, several days later. Rather than admitting this oversight, the manager persisted in defensive explanations that came across as invalidating and dismissive of my legitimate concerns.

I genuinely wish I could give Shopper+ a positive review, as they appeared promising. However, given my experiences—the lack of timely communication, inappropriate charge to my credit card, unprofessional customer support interactions, and management that refuses to acknowledge errors—I cannot recommend this company. Hopefully, Shopper+ can significantly improve their systems and training, but until then I would advise potential customers to exercise caution.

They would not honor their friend…

They would not honor their friend referral! I sent my spouse a referral which she used successfully, but set up her account with her phone# instead of an email. She later added an email to her account. They would not send me the subsequent referrer discount because they said the account needed to be set up with her email. Both are on there, and the order is on her account with a record of her using the referral!

Nine days out from order for toner ink…

Nine days out from order for toner ink and still no delivery. Site says order "being packed" Captcha test prompted at least ten times without being able to get past the test. This site smells of being a scam and I will be reversing my payment by credit card after the weekend.

I thought I was buying Canadian; package arrived made in china. Requested they remove all maple leafs from their website and start including in large letters where product is manufactured. I also requested to never contact me again as they stated they have a 20% restocking fee. Don't support china. Do not buy from this website.

Fighting for Refund on Undelivered Toner

Ordered toner on December 16th and by January 7th it was still "In Transit". When I called for a refund, they said they had to contact the courier company to ask for them to ship it back before they could issue a refund.

Unbelievable.

I asked what if it is lost? They responded that the courier needs to declare it lost so they can charge the courier company. THEN I will get my refund.

Never again will I purchase from these jokers!

I wish I could give -10 rating for this awful website. Don't buy anything from here. They have really bad customer service after sales.
Some of their products have real safety concern. We bought overhang storage shelving and it fell down after 1 week because of cheap metal use.

Went for passport photo, told where to wait for store employee to come & take photo. Waited 20 minutes no one came. Asked original staff what was happening she didn't know.
Will avoid SHOPPERS in future & shop online (better prices & service.

Garbage products, smart marketing

I shopped a few thousands worth of products from shoppers plus and their associated brand called primecables for the past few years.

Gotta give it to them, they have a very smart marketing strategy. There is for example a dynamic discount system where it shows different prices to different users at a time and encourages you to become a member and shop more in order to meet their free shipping and such.

It's quite sinister when you think about it and here is why. It's kind of an online dollar store except they carry way cheaper products most of the time while more expansive than a local dollar store.

Now they do have some products that work but are significantly cheaper than other online stores such as amazon or aliexpress and you cannot really tell that until you get to use the product. Examples are some cables, kitchen accessories and such.

The support is almost non-existent. Good luck returning something that is not up to the quality you expect. They'll take their time to reply to your request and ask you to record videos and take pictures and then not accept the return.

Cheap Products and NO Customer Service

This company should not be allowed to operate. They sell garbage, have a horrendous customer service, and can give a hoot if you cancel or complain.
I have asked for a return authorization on an item that just did not function at all and my multiple requests for a return have simply been ignored.
I don't know how people like these can continue to operate. The dollar store is a FAR BETTER option. This place is hardly laughable they suck so bad.

Please don't shop at Shopper plus canada

So I ordered a double steel bed frame and instead got a queen. As you can see it takes up my whole room. Please don't order from them I'm pretty sure it's a scam, either that or they constantly screw up orders. I paid $300 so my loss is your gain.

Edit: (PS, please read all of this, it's important to know what this company did to my mental health and probably so many others.)

About three weeks ago my my double/twin bed frame snapped in half under my weight (big mistake getting a cheap wood frame online through fb) So I decided to try this out my friend told me about them. I never heard of them. So without looking at any reviews I decide hey why not no harm no foul right? Well first I receive a queen sized huge bed frame when I ordered a steel twin bed frame. It took my neighbour who was nice enough to help me two hours to assemble it. I look at it and am like yep this is definitely 100% a queen bed frame, which I never ordered. When I went to pay for it the guy said okay $300. But the site said it was $98. I took a look at the frame itself, and was like this is much bigger than a double. It said everything was in the head board, like all the gear to assemble it. So I take one look at it and am like yep this is definitely a queen, I never ordered a queen. So two days later I finally receive the right size frame (steel) with prime cables. Weird name for a bed frame company imo. Anyway, about two days ago I try and assemble it myself cause it looks very straight forward, and low and behold it truly isn't. The slats are significantly bigger then the frame itself, and I had a complete emotional and mental breakdown trying to put this thing together. Please please please do not buy from this company. You'll be out hundreds of dollars. Order from Leons, or Jysk. This site is a complete scam.
