I bought an Orro Venturi from Primera sports in June 2023 and was pleased with both the bike and the customer service provided. I needed a new winter bike and was impressed with the Orro Gold Evo and thought that the price of £1459 was a very competitive price and therefore decided to order this bike(16 March 2024) expecting the same customer service as before. BOY WAS I DISAPPOINTED. I contacted Primera on 18 March to enquire about a delivery date and was told that the frame size that I had ordered was out of stock in white but that the manager had agreed to supply a red frame with the same specifications-no big deal as the red looked as good as the white frame. I was told the bike would be ready in a few days and once checked over by Primera would be dispatched to me.
I contacted Primera on the 21st and 25th of March and was assured that the bike would arrive shortly.
I rang back again on the 28th March and was told that the bike was scheduled to arrive on the following Tuesday and would be dispatched to me by Wednesday at the latest. I rang on Wednesday morning at 9.30 am and was initially told that the bike box had been damaged by the courier and that the manager wanted to check the bike for damage. I was told that the manager would be in touch shortly. I rang back at 4pm and was told that the manager would contact me before 5.30pm. This did not happen and I’m still waiting for the call. I received an Email later in the evening from the manager telling me that the bike was a write-off due to the damage caused by the courier-surely this amount of damage would have been obvious to the person who checked the bike on Wednesday morning. In any case Primera need to consider the courier that they use as a bike shouldn’t arrive in that state after a journey of 100 miles.
The manager assured me that he had spoken to the owner of Orro bikes and that a replacement bike would be delivered in about a week-roughly 10th April 2024.
I have yet to speak to the manager despite numerous requests to do so-he must be the busiest man in the world as he is constantly not in the shop, at meetings or not available. After nearly 4 weeks of being messed about I finally decided to cancel the order and guess what-a cancellation confirmation was received within minutes and the person named in the confirmation was none other than the manager who somehow managed to free himself up to complete the paperwork.
I have bought a number of bikes over the years and have never been treated as abysmally as this. I have now bought the same bike from a different supplier and would advise any potential buyer to avoid Primera as their customer service,as in my case,was disgraceful. If you want countless excuses and meaningless apologies then Primera is the place for you-if you want your bike in a timely manner and want to deal with professionals and not clowns-then shop elsewhere.

I would recommend never buying anything from these cowboys I ordered a haibike allmtn 10 and once it got delivered the problems started and primera sports have not helped 1 bit
Firstly i had to pay £40 for a safety check at my local bike shop as the bike was making a horrendous noise from the motor area on the 1st ride which turned out to be the locking ring for the front chainring finger tight
Secondly the dropper post had been filled with so much grease it stopped working i then had to pay £30 out of my own pocket to get this replaced.
Also the fizik seat which came on the bike started to peel away at the edges this was replaced for a cheap haibike branded seat under warranty by my local haibike dealer which Is like riding on a plank of wood and to top everything else off I have now found out that primera sports replaced my 12speed shimano XT chain and cassette before my bike was delivered for a cheaper shimano deore casette and chain when the bike is listed as being sold with XT components i would never buy anything again from these bunch of con men

Just collected my road bike friom Primera Sports in Bournemouth after having some new tyres and brakes fitted and am super impressed by the service. A really professional and helpful experience. Will definitely be going back to them.

First class service from Vince and the team at the Poole branch from enquiry to collection. The bike fit was by Vince who’s knowledge and attention to detail was amazing, repeatedly making adjustments until we had the perfect setup. Nothing was too much trouble and the after service has been equally as good. Fully recommended.

Terrible service had loads of points from spending a fortune made an order over a month ago rung twice said its on its way still nothing never again

After visiting Destination HaiBike I was blown away with the service and feel of the place! We purchased 2 bikes on the day with Jonny and continue to be pleased with them! Throughly recommend !

Great service over the phone, very personable. Super fast delivery of my new bike which was ready to rock and roll.

I was really hoping to give a good review, and I understand that mistakes can occur but this experience has been really frustrating and there has been basically no communication about it without me having to call up each time.

I ordered a bike from this store with an expected dispatch day of last Friday which was not met. That is understandable, but no communication was made about it until I enquired earlier this week, and it seemed as if the bike would not have been sent unless I messaged about it. A delivery was then arranged for Wednesday.

This delivery time was again missed since the bike was not picked up by the delivery company the day before, which is not the shop's fault but I was not informed again until I phoned on Wednesday.

I appreciate the store manager then going to drop it off with the delivery company themselves.

However, when the bike was finally dispatched, it was sent to my billing address rather than my shipping address (on the other side of the country).

When I phoned up again, I was told I should check the missed delivery card when I can next get to the property, however from the delivery service's website they mention that a change of address can only be done by the seller.

In the end I had to ask for a family member to be at the billing address to collect the parcel, and can only feel disappointed with the service provided.

Incredibly knowledgable staff. Great recommendation for the Orro road bike that I bought. Very professional fitting process. New bike is a dream to cycle; feels like cycling on air!

Popped into the bike shop near Bournemouth last Wednesday 28 Jun 23, to see if they could replace a crank nut which I had lost on my cube mbt, the staff duly replaced the nut, checked the torque setting in the rest of my bike and then only charged me for the spares, brilliant service from a honest company, thank you, will highly recommend.

What a fantastic shop to buy my first E bike from. Excellent care and attention from Mark. Collection of the bike was seamless, and I felt confident to use and handle the bike when I left the shop..There was no hard sell on any extras even though I ended up buying quite a few they were all added to my bike before I left the shop. I couldn’t rate this shop and the staff highly enough ( especially Mark ) and even though I live in Surrey I will be back..

Awesome service, these guys were flat out in the shop, but they still managed to squeeze me in an emergency repair at the very last minute (3 hours before my ferry) so my French trip wasn’t ruined! Thanks guys!

I took my road bike in for a minor repair upon recommendation. Not only was this repair completed well, quickly and for a good price, but the staff were friendly and no-nonsense. There is also a great range of bikes and accessories for those wishing to buy!

Rare as it might be from some people these days!! Primera were brilliant in every way. I'm based in Southampton, so I tried to buy locally, but I became so disappointed with local big name companies that really should be performing better. Frustrated with a lack of service and co-operation, my son suggested Primera and I'm so glad he did. Instantly I was talking to someone who cared. Clive took an interest in understanding my needs and they had a genuine desire find a bike to suit. I ended up with a 23 model Cube Stereo Pro, Hybrid 140, for a 22 model price. I'm a month in and I absolutely love the bike, perfect for my needs and beautifully set up by the shop.

I'd encourage anyone to make the call and compare service and price, before buying anywhere else. Clive was my contact, but everyone went above and beyond to help.

Spend your money with someone who wants your business, it's worth travelling for.

Just wanted to thank Clive and Vince for making my bike and kit purchase such a great experience. Their amazing knowledge and helpfulness was just what I was in need of. I bought full range of kit including a bike and foxing this online without their expertise would have been a struggle. thanks!

We were looking for an ebike & went to 4 bike shops.
Vince in Primera Poole shop gave fantastic customer service.
They had in stock a Raleigh ebike but Vince explained it was very slightly too small for us. He ordered in a slightly bigger size (3cm bigger frame) explained why this was important & didn't just make the sale with the stock bike.

When the larger bike arrived he showed us the difference the slightly larger frame made (took pressure off the knee as it was straighter) by setting both up & allowing us to experience both.

He met our needs with suspension saddle, suspension forks & extra support for wrists. He was very patient & knowledgeable. Second ebike from them.

He set the bike up for the leg length, arm length & riding position / posture. You don't get this from an internet shop. Will use again & highly recommend.

Took my girlfriends bike into Primera after visiting a local bike shop just near to where I live whose service left a lot to be desired. Bill and his team couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly to deal with and knowledgeable, did a great job on the repairs requested. Won't be going anywhere else in future, I'll be sending my bike in whenever anything is needed. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Once again fantastic service by Primera Sports. I’ve been using the Bournemouth store for over 15 years, popped in today with a wheel problem on an old bike and nothing was too much trouble. They always go the extra mile and it’s clear to see the passion for top customer service. Highly recommended
