Bad style, prizeotel

Hi Prizehotel
Hamburg City
I’ve booket a stay with you, 5-8/12-2024 via Booking.com
When we came, the room, #110, was cold, the heating did not work. I vent to the reception 5 times, nothing happened, then they offered another room, we checket it, no heating in that as well. I was told other guests had the same problem, no heating. I got a lot of quilts ekstra
and we sleept in the cold room.
In the morning, 6-12-24, after a night of freezing, we had enogh and checket out for a new hotel with heating.
I’ve already payed for all nights with breakfast, so now I think it would be appropiate for you to pay me back for atleast 2 nights.
I have send you emails about this,
but these mails are ignored. It’s really bad style. Don’t ever book prizeotel. They really do not respect their guest’.

I stayed at the hotel in Affoltern Am…

I stayed at the hotel in Affoltern Am Albis from 14th to 18th April 2024. The room was good and the individual members of staff were all courteous but they didn't have at discretion to make decisions. We had included breakfast with our reservation, but when we went to the dining room, there was a very large coach party and virtually all of the food had been eaten. They did not have enough staff to clear up or prepare more food. I asked for a refund for the food, but the manager said I had to write to the Company email. I cancelled breakfast for the remaining 3 days at the reception desk, but as I had paid in advance, the manager did not have the discretion to authorise a refund. I have emailed the company twice and have not had an acknowledgement or reply. I have relatives in the area, but will find an alternative place to stay next time - as will other family members and friends

TERRIBLE HOTEL AND NASTY ATTITUDE

TERRIBLE HOTEL AND NASTY ATTITUDE

Avoid this place. I have been trying for days to cancel a booking, weeks in advance, not last minute, because my partner is disabled and in hospital and can't travel. I have emailed all of their multiple email addresses, and no reply. I contacted a Prizeotel 'info' email and they said I need to contact the hotel.

I rang them internationally (costing a fortune) to go around and round in circles with an employee who wouldn't or couldn't assist - his best advice was to 'just email' them - see above. They deliberately make it impossible to cancel a booking, meanwhile an already extremely stressful situation for us is being made enormously more stressful.

The booking is a quarter of a thousand euro so to be unable to cancel because they make it impossible to do so is really irritating. They have no impulse to try and be understanding or helpful with a difficult situation. And it's not like this is being done to them last minute, the booking isn't for weeks and the room can easily be resold.

I suggest you buy a tent and camp somewhere in Zurich before booking a room with these people. They're horrible. Or call a homeless shelter and ask for a bed there for the night - it's a better option than having to deal with this hotel. Now it seems like I'm out a quarter of a thousand euro and the international call to Switzerland, which was pointless and useless, which I was forced to make, because they make email contact utterly impossible.

Bring your credit card - they'll definitely make themselves available to take your money, as much of it as possible.

0 stars, 0 out of 10.

I'm so irritated that I hate this hotel already.............. I suspect you'll feel the same
