This is my main source to keep up with the ever changing PRS environment and regulations. Every landlord should be reading this regularly - even if they have an agent.

118 is one of the few forums and news sites that give impartial articles and provide genuine comments from people in the business of property. It a great way to find out what everybody else thinks of property issues and good way to find out information from the experience of others. Plus some insightful articles.

I think 118 produce a range of thorough articles which inform me on a daily basis.

As a landlord I found this website stimulating and informative. Most of the postings are from landlords but a few are from tenants. I learned early on from other landlords that it is better to increase the rents every year by a small amount, perhaps related to the CPI index rather than wait 5 years and try and bump up the rent by say 20%. A shock to the tenant which can cause resentment. There are many things I have learned from this website. This was just one useful example.

Property118 is a great way for landlords to find out about things that are relevant to the Private Rental Sector and discuss issues among themselves. We are a very diverse bunch with different tenant types and located all over the country. Some of us contribute frequently while others gain immensely useful information from reading the articles and our comments.

The advice and support from 118 is priceless. It's like a big family that supports its members. There are no trolls or nasty people on there, everyone helps each other no matter how big or small a problem may be. A huge amount of experience from members can just about help with anything. I have found it so useful and it hasn't cost a penny, in fact it has probably saved me £100's over the years. It has to be the best forum I have ever used as a landlord.

Great place for ' Landlord - supportive ' news and discussion.

I've been a property investor / developer since I was 21. I'm now 58 Ahhhh. I find the forums here a very useful source of information and comment. Even now I learn new things - every day is a school day as they say.

I have been a property landlord for over 40 years and I have found that Property 118. com, has been a great help to me over the years, the wealth of information is unrivalled and I would advise anyone with any problems or who needs advice on anything to do with property management to consult the forum, it will be well worth it.

Lots of quality information given from a variety of experienced landlords who know their stuff

I read the daily forums. They are an invaluable source of information as there are many people on there who are professional landlords. You get great advice and it's also good to see how other landlords tackle issues. Like talking a problem over with a friend. At NO time do they give professional advice but it is good to engage with people in the same business as yourself and get a second opinion. They also discuss a lot new regulations which is brilliant. They have helped my property journey as a Landlord over the last 15 years.

Landlady's/Landlords, the information on this site is invaluable. Whatever problem or issue of question you have, your are getting access to the 1000's of Landlady's & Landlords on this site & within a day, your awkward questions start to be answered.

There are solicitors on there replying, tenants, Landladies of 30 40 years experience, modern Landlady's/Landlords who do things differently.

The answer is always on there. Even if you don't like the answer, at least the truth helps you plan.

Head and shoulders above pretty well all the other landlord focussed websites.
