The property purchasing company put an illegal restriction on my property which meant I couldn’t sell it.
They had no precedent to do this.

I had to go directly to land registry and get them to lift it which they did as the PPC had no right to it a restriction on the title of my flat. They had no interest financial or otherwise

They cost me thousands of pounds. Even tho it was a while ago, it took ages to sort out and I had arrears on my mortgage so I defaulted and it affected my credit score. The manager, senior negotiator whose name starts with first letter of the alphabet, refused to lift the restriction I honestly think the manager had a very sick personality to cause so much harm.

I’m still paying the price and as a result of that action whilst cost me tens of thousands of pounds, I’m facing huge financial issues.

These people really need closing down.

Having started to use this company, I was under the impression that they bought the property from me and that was it. Oh no! They didn`t tell me that I was to show "prospective clients" around the property every five minutes even though it was stood empty. I was offered the asking price from someone and accepted. I informed them and they informed I couldn`t sell it to them. I have been having trouble ever since. They will not answer ANY correspondence from my legal team either.

if I could say 0/5 I would! they have forged a friend of mines signature after being stuck in their loop of 'trying to sell' his property. buyers were offering less and they were accepting the offer without even talking to my friend. I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS AWFUL COMPANY. my friend now cant sell their property as its still in the 'property purchasing companys hands'.
after promising they will sell the property within 29 days, 6 months down the line we are still here. we are not impressed!!!!!

Do not enter into any form of contract with this company, they are unscrupulous, tell lies and should be stopped. They get you into a contract an it does not guarantee that you have sold. They say they are members of the Property Ombudsman Scheme - it's time the Ombudsman is involved to stop this kind of business. Beware their solicitors who are happy to let you sign up without any word of warning as it is not a standard contract. Looking at the other reviews on here, people are losing tens of thousands of pounds, myself included. I will not stop until some justice is done ... watch out on the BBC and AVOID using these people.

Worst experience of my life which has gone on for over 7 months and I’m still not rid of this company. Do not enter into any form of contract; the contract is worthless and the solicitors involved should be held accountable.
Signing a contract does not guarantee you have sold your property. Everyone involved in the process with this company is shameful and completely lacking in morals – they are only good at not telling you the truth. I have lost thousands of pounds; house unsold, back to square one over 7 months later and still losing money. Property buying companies should be a regulated business; something has to be done to protect homeowners choosing this route.

After a 7month sentence stuck in a contract that they've changed multiple times but still keep you locked in, missed completion dates, massive 50k reduction and horrendously poor communication throughout, i am a day away from exchange & completion and they're not ready. Then when you call for an update conveniently in meetings dodging calls.
honestly don't understand how this company is still going. oh wait! by selling false hope locking in a contract and knocking the price down and pocketing the rest.

An awful experience that we would't want anyone to repeat. No clear process or procedure and we thought we were being scammed right until the very last moment when we picked up the keys for our new purchase.
Be aware that signing a contract with Property Purchasing does not necessarily mean you have sold - we entered another process with a chain we weren't expecting so went through the sales process twice. This was because the price they offered went to 'review' and came back very much lower than the agreed offer but by that point we had already made an purchase offer on that basis.
From start to finish took nearly 7 months and we regret not just putting our house on the market and achieving a higher price in the same timescale.
Only use this company if you have no other options and even then ask for everything in writing and check exactly what is meant.

I was told by a property buying company ( maybe not this one) they offer 20% below market value but of course nobody yet knows what market value is. In my estate only a few 2 bedroom semis have been SOLD and not one 3 bedroom semi or detached in about last 9 months and most sellers have reduced guide price 2 to 4 times to be at a level discounting a 10-15% fall from level they were at prior to Liz truss trashing the economy - now almost NO buyers with the high mortgage interest rates .can anyone tell me how these companies stay in business as even a desperate seller could get more than they offer by accepting an offer above what these companies offer .? On my estate the 2 bed semis mentioned above SELL at between 235,000 and 245,000 which is only 5000 or 10,000 less than such a company would offer mne for my 12 year old 3 bedroom detached with conservatory , wide garage , en suite etc !! ( wry smile )

Terrible Company !!! Kept telling me they had a buyer but when I spoke to another colleague they knew nothing about a buyer !!! Strung me along for months & months when they had nothing at all for me. Didn't return calls or emails.
Now they still have ny keys and are refusing to return them and won't respond to my emails.
DO NOT USE THEM !!!

Do NOT USE THEM, they lie .... lie... lie, never answer calls znd never return mails.... total scammers..... they lost property at wrong prices, they never give feedback then hide behind a telephone answering service.... Youve been warned.... do not use.... all false

Long story short is we contacted the property purchasing company to sell our property quickly

Over the phone they offered us £175000 cash purchase to purchase our property and on their website it states they are cash buyers . (They made us take our property off the market to move forwards with this too ) Which is why we contacted them in the first place .

In their offer they said they would secure the sale in 28 days but it can be sooner depending on our needs .
On the next phonecall they made us understand that they would buy our place and sent us over the contract with them as a buyer on the contract . . Nowhere in the contract says that the buying was related to them finding a buyer .

After that they insured us that everything would be done before the completion date on the property we were purchasing .
A week before our completion date they told us that they hadn’t found a buyer for our property so we couldn’t go ahead with the sale .

This confused us as we were under the impression they were buying our property and we had moved forwards with everything thinking that we would have our property sold .

This meant that now I have to pay stamp duty of £6900 and also now have to pay 2 mortgages .. the mortgage for my house I was selling could have been renewed at a lower interest rate of 5.4% but because I was assured I would have the property sold by then I didn’t renew the mortgage so now the mortgage is on a variable rate of 7.4% which is very expensive . They are now avoiding my calls and being incredibly unprofessional . They are scam artists and I would advise to avoid at all costs . They do not buy in cash according to a recent call which is the opposite of what their website still says (and the contract we signed . We are awaiting review with our solicitors

It sadly didnt work out for me & I wasted over 4 months! They rely on selling your house in order to pay you. In some circumstances this may be ok? Everyone was very polite. Especially Joe - I hope you had a good Holiday!

After a bad divorce from my wife I decided to take over the sale of my property from her! PPC did exactly what they offered. Found me a buyer within the time stated. Paid all fees and kept me updated throughout.

Olivia was fantastic and helped me through all required documents.

This has not been straightforward due to a buyer pulling out and my having to lower the price, due to the market taking a hit. However, Ahmet, along with Charles and Olivia, have all been great! They have constantly been in touch and available to speak to me. Ahmet and co, have a very positive, professional and upbeat approach, whilst taking on any concerns, answering questions honestly, updating me, whilst continually pushing things forward. Having sold 18 properties myself, Ahmet has taken the task of selling (which is rarely smooth sailing) and got me to the point of Exchange, successfully. I absolutely welcomed the working relationship, appropriate shared humour and enthusiasm, when needed.I would definitely recommend.

Probably if you are prepared to sell at significantly below value to get the money fast, then they're a good option. Friendly team but were unable to buy my house at the price agreed within timescales claimed. Went to a standard estate agent to sell instead. PPC had put a restriction on title deeds with the land registry, despite not having a buyer to proceed with a sale, and wanted £5k to remove this as they said they'd incurred costs. After a few phonecalls they did agree to remove this, but was a stressful experience.

We were kept informed at every step of the process. It went very smoothly and quickly. I would highly recommend.
