Dr McCluskey was very personable and thorough. This is a weird experience for an adult and he made it less weird. And I benefit from having some new data points and possible explanations for how som... See more

Definitely check out Prosper if you’re curious about a diagnosis
I think Dr Palamara did an excellent job! She kept me on track without making me feel badly about needing to be redirected, she gave me information in a way that was interesting, and she highlighted my strengths in a way I hadn’t considered before! I would definitely recommend anybody to her.
Good and bad
What I liked about the company was the evaluation was very detailed and therapy taught me a lot. I will say that if you’re only going there to find out if you are autistic or even if you’re going there because you already know you’re autistic and just looking for therapy they are a good place to start with. What I don’t like about the company is the fact that they do not perform a formal neuropsychology test that is required to be accepted in certain disability claims. They will not help you if you were to ever file a claim because you needed help or even assistance. They make it very clear that even though they diagnosed you, they will not help you with any paperwork or anything. Which leaves you having no choice, but to go somewhere that specializes in the formal intake who is willing to cooperate with your insurance company or even the government to be able to get some type of assistance whether it’s living assistance, financial assistance or even necessary tools to help you with some of the sensory overload issues we experience as autistic people. I hope my review helped someone who just needs to find someone to help them cope or even someone who is looking for assistance and thought that this may be a good place.
So far so good
Only have had two sessions one being an intake essentially but so far I feel a good fit. Hopefully we can accomplish a lot together
Highly Recommended!! ✨
I highly recommend Prosper Health for a thorough clinical autism assessment. My psychiatrist Dr. Syd aka Syd was thorough, insightful and overall a great support for me navigating all the thoughts and reflections that this assessment required. Honestly, I was concerned that I’d have a horrible experience especially as a persons of color whereas our traits/symptoms are often misread and/or overlooked due to lack of exposure, education and or comfort in exploring deeply. She met me right where I was, was not dismissive nor leading and I felt seen, heard and respected. If you’re on the fence of whether you should do it…do it. No regrets!!
Extremely easy to schedule
Extremely easy to schedule, meet with provider, and navigate website. Helpful reminders for appointments as well. The provider was patient, empathetic, and experienced.
SJ was incredible
SJ was incredible! I felt safe sharing with her. She was very supportive when I received the results that I was not expecting. She provided me great suggestions for helping to manage some of my sensory issues.
Convenient, Thorough, and Understanding
This experience was better than I thought it would be. I will admit, I was skeptical based off some of reviews I had seen, but my experience at Prosper was amazing! I had a great psychologist who I reach out to still from time to time. She helped me understand Autism as a whole and was very good about asking clarifying questions when needed. This was an evaluation that included all parts of my life and did not focus fully on adulthood, which I appreciated. She got to know me through all stages of life. She gave me great advice and resources on how to process my diagnosis and what to do moving forward. All my life, I have been told I have food anxiety and social anxiety. It held me back ALOT and the diagnosis of Autism makes my childhood and adolescence make sense. I now feel comfortable enough to start my first year of college as I feel ready to navigate through a pivotal moment in my life thanks to my psychologist and the Prosper Health Team.
If you are even considering Prosper, I would recommend it 100%! Save your money and time since you can schedule an evaluation quickly without having to spend thousands and wait up to two years.
I got the help I needed.
My experience felt safe every step of the way and I'm thankful for that
What made my experience great was the fact that I brought my concerns to professionals who actually listened to me and took me seriously. I will forever be grateful for this experience as I have never experienced 'affirming care' before and I now know this is something so needed! My therapist and psychologist were both very warm and felt self for me. I have zero complaints. Thank you so much Prosper Health!
