Had a flat tyre very early in the morning and after the RAC patched up the wheel had to find a place to change. Went to about 3 places that unfortunately could not help, all fully booked. Came across Protyre by chance, they also fully booked but they kindly took pity on me and changed my tyre. Most appreciated as NHS worker. Can't thank them enough for being so kind and professional. Great customer service.

Excellent Service
Excellent Service even though I arrived 30 minutes late for my appointment, I received a very warm welcome from the team. The gentleman on reception was friendly, professional, and accommodating. David, the new manager, was reassuring, approachable, and made me feel valued as a customer.The mechanic who changed my tyre also did an excellent job. He was efficient, professional, and clearly took pride in his work. The whole experience was positive from start to finish, with outstanding customer service throughout.I would highly recommend this tyre company and will definitely return in the future. Excellent despite a minor hiccup!
Despite a minor hiccup with wheel alignment, following the fitting of two front tyres, it turned out to be the usual exemplary service I’ve become accustomed to for many years! You really get the measure of a good firm by how they deal with problems. Protyre Cambridge were efficient, professional, and, above all, courteous.

I have been using protyre for many years…
Have been using protyre for many years and always received a very good level of service until this year. Booked in twice online a wheelchair alignment twice. First time, a received a call from them when I was 5 minutes away from my appointment to say their machine wasn't working and to try re-booking the later half of the following week. I did this for the following Friday only to arrive and be told there's no technician to do the alignment. No phone call and another wasted journey into Cambridge. Following this i had an MOT booked the following week. Half way through the MOT, the tester came into reception to say there was a screw embedded in the centre of the front tyre. I asked if they were able to fix it following the MOT. Told they couldn't do it until the following Wednesday. I appreciate this would have been an unscheduled job but thought it wouldn't have been to difficult to schedule in at some point that day. It seems they have a shortage of staff and are unable to provide a quality level of service. A new team of staff have taken over and i dont believe they are coping well.

2 things went wrong
2 things went wrong. My appointment was right at the end of the day and the branch was having staffing issues. As a result. My tyre pressures were left uneven which triggered a TPMS alarm act an inopportune moment. At which point I noticed I had a missing valve cap, which is annoying. Nobody wants missing valve caps on brand new tyres.
