This was my first time using Protyre

This was my first time using Protyre, and I was very impressed. I had my car serviced and MOT done, and the service was excellent from start to finish. John was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He explained everything clearly and provided outstanding customer service, making the whole experience smooth and stress free. I highly recommend Protyre and will definitely be returning. Thank you, John, and the team!

John was polite and helpful

John was polite and helpful, that's the two main curtises you need from a company manager , a good service, aircon re gas is working again , although it only needed a top up of gas " John found the problem, a faulty relay from the air-conditioning unit , he used a working relay from the headlight washer to fix the problem, i have bought another relay £7 John said he would fit it for me free of charge next time im passing by, his fair the total for the aircon fix was £120 so £80 part re gas and diagnostics £40 to find faulty air con relay , all in all a good service " and im Cool " .

Poor manger

I was in with my daughter in law and was shocked to see who I was told was the assistant manager in workshop working away struggling to stand and walk. I approached him and asked if he was ok . He was polite, chirpy and can see from his face he was in extreme pain he said due to an over load of work he had to help out to ease the work load from the staff. He was non stop despite hanging onto rails and doorway. Is this acceptable practice to over load your staff to the point they can't walk.

Poor management

My friend took car in for in puncture repair, the man on front desk was polite and got her in straight away. He explained she needed new tyre as she had run it flat. And said the others were on 4-5mm and said to get them done in few weeks as she only does school runs in this car.
Then the manager who was quite rude and scared my friend by saying tyres are dangerous and illegal. So we went to 2 other garages and the tread was 4 mm on lowest point. The man behind counter did come outside and said the tyres are legal. I'm sorry but due to the forceful and scare tactics from the manager we will not be returning which is a real shame as until he was Involved the whole service was great. I believe it was Pete and Nathan who were very helpful despite the managers pushing and trying to take advantage of a woman being in a garage thinking we are clueless.

Had an MOT here

Had an MOT here. Was kept informed throughout and the car was back to me in a couple of hours. All problems sorted quickly and reasonably priced.

Booked to have air con recharged at a…

Booked to have air con recharged at a specific time (11am) but received call to ask if they could move to 4pm as had run out of gas to complete the works. Fortunately I could rearrange my day to still have the work carried out, which was the day before leaving for a week in France.
