Great value MoT with summer web offer
Just used Protyre, Lake, IoW for 2 MoTs. Having booked early and taken up Protyre’s summer web offer, the cost was only £29.95 instead of £54.85, so a saving of nearly £50 for the 2 vehicles!
As always, Protyre did an excellent job. The two appointments (a day apart) both ran to time with each MoT taking about an hour.
I have always been loyal to Protyre and regularly used them for my tyres, as well as MoTs.
Good to be able to continue to thoroughly recommend Protyre as an excellent, local, IoW company who provide excellent customer service.

Shame the mot examiner doesn't know how many number plate lights the Mazda 3 has. Have a blank space between the 2 lamps and he puts an advisory on my mot saying I have a missing lamp.

Operative, I won't call him a mechanic, forgot to release the rack boots when he adjusted the tie rods.
Boot twisted and was pulled off the steering rack.
When I rang up to complain I was told to bring it back .I did.
Idiot on reception, Ben, treated me as if I had just brought a puncture it, his main concern was I had left the keys in the car and he couldn't put a label on them.
After a few choice words he agreed to a full refund. 4-7 days he said. Going on holiday for two weeks. If not in my bank when I get back I will be having more words with Ben.
