Ordered online- very straightforward, but
Ordered online- very straightforward, booking for fitting (New Mills depot) - very straightforward. Fitting- NOT straightforward! Having left depot with tyres ( 2 fronts) fitted, realised from car app that pressures in both front tyres was different but also different to manufacturers recommended pressures. Phoned depot ( New Mills) and they said that calibration of machine must be wrong but they had checked inside drivers door for manufacturers tyre pressures. I felt pretty smug when I informed them that tyre pressure advice for a Mercedes was inside the fuel filler cap and not drivers door, so, fair to assume they hadn’t checked. I took the car to Stockport Protyre depot the same day ( was heading in that direction anyway) and advised them of what happened. They regulated tyre pressure within 10 minutes, smiled and shook their heads at what I told them and sent me on my way. My take away from all of this is…. Definitely use Protyre but don’t use New Mills depot as machines aren’t calibrated and they don’t know where to find manufacturers tyre pressures, door/fuel cap.

Trusted, great service
My tyres have been all over the place this year. My tyre pressures were all out despite my checking them at a local fuel station. Protyre checked them. One had a sharp scoop out of the middle of the tread. It was down to the mesh. New tyre fitted and the other tyres checked. My invoice outlined what had been done. I am so glad to have found an honest, competent tyre place.

I was attended to immediately I walked into the office, they checked the exhaust, informed me the new one would be with them within hours. I made arrangements to return the following morning, it was fitted and I was returning home within the hour. Excellent service
