Service from the desk was great, 4 new tyres and wheel alignment, over £1k spent and tyre pressures were, FL 40, FR 35, RL 36, RR 38, really poor and a safety issue.

I had a very disappointing experience at this garage when I took my car for an MOT.
I made sure my car was mechanically sound and had completed the necessary repairs before booking the MOT. I had also recently purchased tyres from this garage, and that positive experience was one of the reasons I chose to return.
Unfortunately, the MOT experience was extremely disappointing. I felt that some of the issues raised were questionable, and I was not given proper explanations about the reasons for the failure. The communication was poor, and I found the staff rude and unprofessional.
I expected a fair inspection, clear explanations and respectful customer service, but unfortunately, this was not my experience.
I will not be returning to this garage, and based on my personal experience, I would not recommend it to others.

I am writing to make a formal complaint…
I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the MOT test carried out on my son’s car at your garage last week.
During the MOT test, the vehicle was failed because your tester claimed that one of the tyres had a cut on the inner sidewall. An advisory was also issued for the second tyre.
As a result of this failure, we were forced to replace the tyres at our own expense. However, when we took the tyres to another tyre shop for inspection, we were told that the tyres were absolutely fine.
My son subsequently returned to your garage with the tyre that your tester had declared unsuitable. He asked your tester to show him the alleged damage that had caused the MOT failure. At that point, the tester was unable to demonstrate the defect and began apologising to my son.
This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the original MOT assessment. We relied on your tester’s professional judgement and spent money replacing tyres that another tyre shop considered safe and in good condition.
Furthermore, when the tyres were declared unsuitable, your garage also attempted to sell replacement tyres at approximately £250 each. Given what happened when my son challenged the inspection, this has left us extremely concerned about whether the MOT failure was justified and whether customers are being pressured into purchasing replacement tyres unnecessarily.
I consider this matter unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that MOT inspections are conducted impartially, that failures are supported by genuine defects and that vehicle safety is never used as a reason to encourage unnecessary spending.

Brilliant service and advice
The service I received was second to none. Got there late for our appointment due to traffic but they still managed to fit us in for an mot as it was urgent. Car failed on emissions but they gave us a bottle of radox free and instructions to pass next time. I would highly recommend them to all my friends

Naushad was wonderful and went above and beyond to help me get my car back on the road. As someone who doesn't know much about cars, he made sure I understood everything happening with the car, why it needed replacing and what the pricing structure looks like.
