I went to collect my car that had…
I went to collect my car that had failed its mot to find that they had fitted a new end exhaust without my agreement !
And then tried to make me pay over £200 for it when I cannot work from having had cancer on a low income
And I would have taken it to a mechanic that would do it for a fraction of the cost ! That’s actually totally wrong and he tried to make out he was doing me a favour by charging a small amount off !

Protyre for Tyres and MOT
I always use Protyre in Wells for my MOT and new tyres for my vehicle. The staff are always helpful and polite and efficient.

High cost replacement tyre
Took the car in with a slow puncture. Unfortunately, the puncture had been caused by a nail in the part of the tyre that prevented it from being repaired. As a result I was charged £162 for a new tyre that I later found out could be bought online from Protyre for about £123!!! I realise that tyres bought online are typically less expensive than those bought on-site but 20%+ mark up seems a bit steep.

Customer care.
I tried to book online but wanted payment before booking time or location. Tried to phone. More than 20 minutes on 3 attempts. Drove to wells. People standing around chatting. Served by a young man disinterested. Quote was £30 more than on line (AC). Poor all round.

They fitted 4 tyres on my 2001 Polo. They had to order them in as the size was not listed any more by the main manufacturers. I arrived for the fitting appointment and they fitted them. My only issue was that they seemed very busy and, despite the “appointment time”, they took a long time before they could fit the tyres - so quite a delay. Good job otherwise

The team were polite and professional they did an excellent job replacing my tires and did the wheel alignment all within an hour also the price was very reasonable I will be using them again.
