Just called Provident Car Insurance to change my car details and spoke to Saymira, and received a excellent courteous service and she was very helpful.

Just got off the phone with Aftab. He was able to sort out change of vehicle on my existing policy and clarified few grey areas. He's excellent all round, very thorough, professional and quite knowledgeable in his role. I'll highly recommend he should be cloned!

Have been with Provident for car insurance for the last few years, will no issues. Have just called to update address following a move, and spoke to a really helpful lady called Lynn. She was cheerful, polite and thorough, and made the experience great with her excellent customer service skills. All dealt with quickly, and Lynn also assisted me with regaining access to account online. Excellent customer service, thank you.

I recently had to call Provident Insurance to make a change to my car insurance policy as I am not at ease doing so online. David the operative who answered my call couldn't have been more helpful. He put me at ease and explained very clearly my choice of options, he was so patient and understanding of my situation. Efficiency of Lynn on the renewal team was excellent especially when we had problems with my credit card payment.

I was Just on phone with Aftab very nice and helpfull person. Yesterday I tried to i insure my car but I run out of time. He call me back today to confirm all details and finish transaction. I can recommend as a very patient and proffesional person. In simply words explained everything to me and repeated it calmly if needed.

These people are thieves. Provident Insurance (through their brokers, Covea) are in the process of refusing my claim on a Provident Insurance policy. My wife was on my insurance and claimed on a third party driver who hit her car a year before I took out insurance with them. My claim is also on a third party as I wasn't even in the car and the driver who hit me was insured. I would not be surprised if they claim from the other drivers insurance and just pocket the cash along with my premiums. Thanks a bunch Covea and Provident insurance.

Hi I was just on the phone to do a change over my car...I was having much trouble doing it on line..and my phone keeped losing connection..but I spoke to a man called Dave..he was a life saver too his time on the call as we were having great difficulty hearing each other..
He took his time repting everything till he got the right information. And done my change over for me so I can drive my new car now...
Thank you dave.. it's people like you make others peoples day..iam very greatful for your kind patience today we got it sorted in the end..hope you have a lovley day..

Spoke to Dave about changing my car, first time I had ever gone through the process and he made it so easy

Nice UK call centre quick telephone answering and no long holds or press 1/2/3/4 direct to an agent. Easy 5 mins to renew rather than 20 mins on a comparison and all documentation is nice and neat online with nice easy access. Many thanks

If I could give a zero star rating I would! I phoned up Provident because my policy did not auto renew. They said that when this happens, even though it had only expired by a few hours, that they would need to requote. The price they came back with was more than 75% higher than the renewal quote! I then placed my business with another provider with exactly the same level of cover and made a saving even on the originally quoted renewal figure. This is a real rip off! How on earth can they claim that the price for cover has increased by more than 75% when running it through the normal quote engines says that the price has not gone up at all! I will never be insuring with Provident again. This sort of rip off needs to stop.

*** UPDATE As requested below, I have now sent an email to customer services, strangely they didn’t respond to my request on the phone or the feedback I provided on their own site, but did respond to trustpilot!

*** 2nd UPDATE I have still heard nothing from Provident, despite their assurance that they would contact me! Letter now being sent to I suramce Ombudsman, this sort of sharp practice must be stopped. In the meantime, think very carefully before using Provident, I had been with them for several years and this is how they have treated me.

I called to make some changes regarding my vehicle insurance Kira was brilliant excellent customer service. Would highly recommend!
