expect the workmanship to be equally poor.

Ordered an item clearly marked “in stock” four weeks ago. It still hasn’t been dispatched.
Customer service repeatedly claimed the website says it’s “not shipping until March” — which is simply untrue. The site showed it as in stock when I ordered and afterwards and still today.
Delays happen. Misrepresenting what your own website says does not inspire confidence.
Very poor communication, lack of honesty and transparency, one can only expect the workmanship to be equally poor.

They completly screwed up my order

They completly screwed up my order. Did not send any Rope. I ordered extra rope and pulley and they were not sent either . Now they are ignoring me!

In contrast to what Brian has written here, over the space of 14 emails Brian called Tom a Little Man, Dumb Ass, Incompetent, Delusional and told him to get some help, He is now trying to whitewash his behaviour by telling tales on a review website.

Brian first contacted us to say that he had not received the correct accessories. He believed he was missing the extra pulley and sash cord and had received a pack of hanging hooks in error. He began with ‘which idiot screwed up my order’. In contrast Brian had ordered the wrong accessories. We asked him to send photos of what he had received so that we could check the order for him. We then advised him that this was in fact what he had ordered, but that we would be quite happy to send out the correct accessories free of charge.

There was a small question as to if he had received two double pulleys or if he had sent us two photos of the same pulley, as he appeared to have received both. Brian’s response was ‘try listening to your customers, I’m thinking you’re not going to sort this out, let the writing of reviews begin’.

Brian then posted his first review on Trust Pilot, and we asked him to take this down otherwise we would not be willing to deal with him any further. He has since changed the content of his review three times!

Despite our offer to send out the accessories he wanted free of charge, Brian refused, so we decided to give him a refund instead. We advised him that he would need to purchase these elsewhere. It also transpired that a few days before placing this order, Brian placed a separate order on our website but did not complete the transaction. He again ordered the wrong accessories! We knew he had received confirmation of both orders because he replied to both these emails. When we put this to him, he replied ‘more BS from the little man. let me talk with someone else’.

Unfortunately, at this point nobody else wanted to deal with Brian. He replied with ‘you screwed this up! I'm sorry you don't have the brain to comprehend the situation’. A few days later we received an email from Brian which simply said ‘Where the (BLEEP) is my refund.

By now Brian’s payment had been refunded and we told him that he would need to confirm this with his bank because if he was trying to say that he had not received this, then we wouldn’t believe him.

From the latest update to his review, Brian appears to have now received his refund and apparently ‘The customer service was the worst (he) had ever experienced from a company in (his) life The name calling and disrespect was totally uncalled for’. We honestly couldn’t make it up!

For everyone else reading this we work hard to keep our customers happy and to meet their expectations. The people who work for us however are not here to take abuse in any form, and yes this includes name calling and telling tales about them on a review website. If you are experiencing an issue with an order please contact us. We are approachable, friendly and we are very experienced in what we do!

Missing order - false tracking number given

Placed order on 19th January, chased it up a week later and was given a tracking number that didn’t exist on 26th jan. chased order again on 2nd Feb and was told order was in the ´workshop’ and would be collected in a few days. How was I given a tracking number for a non existent delivery. This has made me very suspicious and nervous. No apology for misinformation or delay nor an explanation as to why I was given a false tracking number. Anyone know if they a bogus company??

Please rest assured that your payment was not refunded because you left a one-star review, your payment was refunded because you questioned if we were a bogus company. Obviously, we would not want you to feel that you had been scammed so Jane felt that a full and immediate refund would be the best way forward for both parties.

In answer to your comments about the suspicious tracking number, when we process an order, we book this in with the shipping company. This creates a label and a tracking number which is passed onto the workshop for them to prepare the order. Once this is ready, the label is attached to the box, and the package is placed in our goods out area for the carrier to collect. I do not see how we could do this in any other way as this is the natural order of things.

Because you are based in Northern Ireland, we needed to send this through the Royal Mail as our normal delivery company will not deliver there. Royal Mail do not collect from us daily. I did explain this to you and that once the package was collected, that you would see the tracking update. I have sent a copy of the shipping label for your reference. You left this review before the package was collected so we pulled the order and provided you with a full refund. Given that we quote 10 working days for delivery to Northern Ireland, at the time you posted this review, your order was also not technically overdue.

I hope this addresses your concerns. For anyone else reading this please understand that we are a workshop based in Shrewsbury where we make many of the products we sell. Many of our products are in stock, some are made to order, and some are on a longer lead times. Delivery times are made clear when placing your order and if anyone is unsure, please contact us for an up-to-date delivery guideline. Customers can of course cancel their order with us if they are not happy to wait.

I ordered two items and only received one…

Didn’t receive half my order. They kept on asking for my shipping label and pictures as proof that the item didn’t arrive - I provided this information twice with no response so I posted a negative review and requested they contact me as that seemed to have worked for others who have left reviews. They finally responded within a day. Though I repeatedly asked for the item I paid for to be shipped to me they were unprofessional, rude, and twisted my words on their email communications. They refused to ship my item and told me they processed a refund. They cared more about my negative review than actually shipping the item I bought.

Disappointing

Disappointed by the poor quality of some of the parts. The main pulley wheel screws twisted as they were being screwed in, the plastic parts are cheap looking and flimsy. Instructions and video weren’t completely helpful, needed more detail as they some things to guess at, like position of the additional pulley wheel.

We are delighted with our beautiful plate rack.We looked at numerous makes but the fact that this is bespoke and is such good quality it would have been foolish not to buy one.
Any questions we had re care of the wood etc were promptly replied to and the whole purchasing experience was a delight.Nothing is too much trouble. We have already have visitors admire and comment on the quality of the rack.We can recommend this company without any reservation you won’t be disappointed.
