I contacted Puretalk as I had no success on the website which stated that my request to order a new phone was unable to be processed on the Puretalk side. I spoke with Brian who was patient, easy going but informative and educational. He was able after some discussion to get me a great deal. Customer for 3 months. Strongest signal in my area (I live in the country), best price for unlimited talk, text, and, high speed data as well as most hot spot data per month. Their customer service team is professional, knowledgeable, and, very friendly. I have no problem understanding their dialects.

I signed up for a PureTalk account for my older sister who had a stroke 15 years ago. I was very excited to see the monthly fee (she is on a limited income) and reliability status. My sister cannot dial out or read/respond to texts but she can answer calls. Unfortunately I found out I cannot access the account I set up and pay for because she is sent a text with a passcode that must be used to see the account. She doesn't live with me and so I can't see the passcode. I know there are other families who must have similar issues. I wish we could set it up to have the passcode sent to the email address on file. I am currently having to look for a new company because of this problem and my sister is out the money she paid for the phone.

I have never been talked or treated so poorly ever! This by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a person. She was rude, condescending, basically would not listen to what I was trying to communicate, talked over the top of me and got very personal with me! I had people waiting to see how Pure Talk performed and I will say ZERO. I will go back to AT&T.

I got a new phone as my phone was broken such that it wasn’t worth fixing. It had a sim chip and this phone has an eSIM. I can’t remember her name, but she was very helpful. We walked through the steps needed to take care of it and it was done. I hope she gets to read this and recognizes it. Her name was not common and I wish I could remember it to give her the credit for a job well done!

I just got off the phone with Chris in customer support. My issue(my fault) was resolved while I was on the call and the questions I posed to Chris were answered as well. It was a pleasure to speak to a customer rep. who speaks the same dialect of English that I do. Great job Pure Talk! I'm glad I switched.

I have talked with many customer service centers in my life, and one that stands out as exceptional is Pure Talk. I was having trouble with my replacement phone. The cell service works great, however, I had a non-compatible phone I was trying to use. I called Pure Talk's customer service a few different times, and each time without exception, the representative was kind; patient when I had to search for information; understanding of my situation; reassuring when I was embarrassed to not have the information available and always extremely respectful of the customer on the phone. I have never experienced such professionalism from employees before. The outstanding associates that helped me during my various calls were Joy, Antwanisha, Asharia and Tenai. I am very pleased and grateful to the fine customer service representatives that helped me. If you have a problem and need help from Pure Talk, I am sure a really great team member will help you too!

My experience with PureTalk has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
Activating the service was unnecessarily difficult, confusing, and time-consuming. What should have taken minutes turned into endless back-and-forth, unclear instructions, and zero accountability. Customer support felt untrained and unempowered—every interaction led nowhere.
It somehow got worse when I decided to switch carriers. Instead of a smooth transition, PureTalk made the process painfully difficult, slow, and frustrating. Simple requests were turned into obstacles. Information changed depending on who you spoke to. It felt less like customer service and more like deliberate resistance.
If you value your time, your sanity, and basic competence from a phone carrier, look elsewhere. Cheap plans are meaningless when the service behind them is this dysfunctional.
Strongly do not recommend.
