I love your yarns
I love your yarns. I really enjoy knitting with them. I had the opportunity to visit Purl Soho yarn shop about 7 years ago and thought the shop was as cute as a button. I would like to see more on line videos on how to knit beginner sweaters or just new patterns knitted with your beautiful yarns. I really enjoyed the on line knitting class you had with making the pot holders with the sun shower cotton yarn. I’m still knitting them and give them away as gifts. Keep up the wonderful work you are all doing for purl soho.

I have been knitting the sweater for…
I have been knitting the sweater for 2-3 years. The sleeve length is very, very short. I think that the instructions must be inaccurate as the smaller sizes have more repeats than the largest size.
Please review your pattern and determine whether there is an error.

You are absolutely right that there is a confusing typo in that section! Although the instructions themselves are correct, we mislabeled the size as 2-4 years instead of 2-3, which may have led you astray. We are very sorry for our error and are so grateful to you for pointing it out. We put our patterns through many rounds of rigorous testing, but very occasionally, a small mistake may slip through... We are fixing this one now and will follow up via email with a more thorough explanation of what to expect when you knit that size sleeve, so please keep an eye out for that.
In gratitude for your astute eye and also in apology for your trouble, we've issued you a refund for the pattern. You should see that in your account within the next few days, depending on your payment method.

Wow! When I requested another skein of tweed I had bought a year ago, I received a phone call AND an email from Purl Soho doublechecking on the lot number. Awesome customer service! and they sent me the nearest equivalent skein which works perfectly!

The cotton/yak wool has arrived safely
The cotton/yak wool has arrived safely. I'm thrilled with the colour and texture. I haven't begun making the toddler sweater yet as my fingernails are dry and splitting from the cold weather here. I have however practised the long tail cast on method which you recommend. It does result in a much neater finish.
I'm making the sweater for a 12 month old and the child is only just 6 months so I have plenty of time.
Can't wait for spring here in NZ so I can get started.
