Qustodio has a consistent problem with blocking unsupported browsers. Most recently, their software engineers have been unable to block the use of the 'Browser' app (browser-app.com). So, unless every... See more

It's not that I don't like it but it's just not complete enough.
I would love to see more chatting surveillance in more apps. I would like to option of using brave browser and also have it compatible with Linux.

Problem resolved. I deleted the app and didn’t remember I committed to annual billing. I didn’t receive a warning notice that I would be billed (I assume it was in the app). I was charged and it was refunded immediately!

I was with them for a couple years. My kids started using YouTube more so I upgraded to monitor YouTube as well. I realized after a couple months that it wasn't that good at monitoring YouTube or other sites and, despite having it blocked on their service, pornographic material was still getting through. I removed their service and I switched to Canopy. I contacted them for a refund but they refused because I upgraded just over 30 days ago. Insane! It's a year subscription. Definitely not recommended.

At first it worked fine, but now even though we are a premium member, it stopped working at all. The customer service take a long time to respond, we would not recommend this app, especially since it is really expensive. The free version only lets you set daily time limits, you cannot turn the computer off in the evening.

Fast and efficient response to a refund request with no hesitation. Easy to deal with.

Absolutely love this app! Easy to set up and easy to use. I have used it for almost a year now.

My kids were able to break Qustodio and completely bypass it. The app was so broken that we couldn't even uninstall it.
It doesn't count screetime accurately, missing hours at times, limited with webbrowsing monitoring, certificate installation instructions are totally unreliable, and support service is the worst ever seen

Time limits are easy to bypass when using iOS. One child’s device reports background apps such as Life360 as screen time, which is very frustrating when trying to determine if the set amount of screen time is used. Another child’s device stopped reporting and is sending notifications that the device hasn’t been used. I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the kids app 3 times. It works again after being uninstalled but then will stop again.

Good control for parents, without too much interference with kids on their devices

Great if you want to create routines that are firmly set. Not so easy to manipulate if you want to create several rules to cover similar time slots on different days. We homeschool, and our routines are flexible so this is at times difficult to manage.
I do love that I am able to pause devices, I am provided alerts if the app flags something it deems suspicious (often wrong but I'd rather be alerted than not) and my daughter is beginning to adjust.
I don't like the inflexibility, but perhaps I need to learn more about setting routines up.

Great product and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this software if you have kids.

Qustodio is a great part of our safety net, giving the child opportunity to proove themselves to the parent and giving the parent the opportunity to oversee the social interactions.
I do wish there was a way to tap on an individual thread between the child and another person rather than having to go through all the conversations of the day.

I have somehow managed to install guidance to control my 13yo's usage of his lap top but frustratingly unable to add his android phone to the parent app. I was able to arrive as 'Allow Now' and after that I just could not proceed further. I have countless times and i must say my blood pressure is increasing with this. It's not user friendly and I just cannot complete what's on their tutorial. There is no help online, no online chat support too. And I managed to find an email 'info@qustodio(dot)com' and sent an email to have failed delivery saying the email provider rejected it. Huh? What?

I am unable to set a time limit for all games - or all apps in a category. That would be helpful.

I cant quite pin point when but there must have been an update and I do not like the app as much. It seems everything has been lumped together in groups as apposed to individual apps.
Maybe with some playing arpubd I will find my way around

Love the location alerts…ARRIVED AT SCHOOL. Some of the Google alerts are off base, for example a warning for drugs and alcohol when he searched for how many ounces were in a movie theater large soda cup.

Very good at controlling screen time for Android phone. Upgraded to premium for son's iPad too. It reads time's up, but my son can still play on the iPad, so wasn't worth the upgrade. Was happy with the free version. Very disappointing!!
