Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 53 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the website poorly designed, not intuitive, and difficult to navigate, with essential features from the old site missing. The user experience is frequently described as clunky, irritating, and slow, making it hard to find desired information and study racing forms. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the product, particularly the new racecard format, which they found cluttered, fragmented, and difficult to read, leading many to consider cancelling their subscriptions. However, some customers appreciated the improved clarity, graphics, and colors of the web pages, especially for sports betting coverage, finding it comprehensive and helpful. A few people also found the main digital subscription to be decent value.

Horses Formcard Within App

The form of a number of horses is not showing up once you click on the name. "The horse has yet to run a race" is there instead, which is incorrect as I'm looking through the Aintree card where every single horse has ran at least one race! As if the new version of this app wasn't bad enough now this, absolute joke.

Still no change, awful, use Sporting Life app instead!

Nothing has changed, in fact if anything it seems even less responsive than my last review. I give up! Now I'm using The Sporting Life app, it's at least user friendly and uncomplicated. I would advise you all to do the same, and then maybe the Racing Post might reconsider it's options and reintroduce the old excellent app. If I could I would give the Racing Post app a minus score, as I'm sure most reviewers would.

Total Rubbish

It's terrible to over thought , not use'r friendly at all ' and not to mention the unwanted 24hr radio consistently popping up on my Samsung phone that you can not seem to get rid of unless you uninstall the App which I might do because its awful.

This new app is a pain to use

This new app is a pain to use. Fussy bordering on complicated. There was nothing wrong with the old app,In fact it was brilliant. Sorry but I’ll be using an alternative app for my racing from now on.

Absolute buch of thieves....yet another…

Absolute buch of thieves....yet another disgraceful subscription scam...they make it as difficult as possible to cancel.....why cant you log in to your account and cancel ?....couldn't care less about it's customers. After phoning their Indian customer services to cancel, was pushed and pushed to carry on with subs, offering to go down to £10 instead of £40 they had been charging...said yes if they would backdate it 3 years ! Nowadays It seems that is par for the course how companies treat their customers. Recession/affordability checks hopefully will see the back of these bunch of thieves

The most disappointing app update in…

The most disappointing app update in history, confusing interface, non user friendly, radio constantly cuts out. Whoever signed off on this "improvement" needs sacking. I've deleted it, I simply can't do it 🤬🤬🤬

THE WORST APP EVER MADE

The racing post app update is by far the worst change I ever seen in an app, system, website. Diabolical doesn’t cut it. The interface is so none user friendly, the radio cuts out before a race as it try’s to load the race on video in the app. Constantly says I’m offline. Looking into horses previous runs use to be easy, now you can barely click into them. It’s actually put me off punting ( might be a good thing) the previous app was brilliant, easy to use and helped you do your own research. IF YOU HAVE NOT UPDATED YOUR APP- DONT! I can’t put into words how bad the app is.

New progressive design?

Has anyone from the racing post design team or more importantly anyone who likes a bet and loves horse racing actually used this app in testing? My job involves graphics and design and am more than happy to see progress, but this design has actually gone backwards. I can’t even find important racing results easily. Try to watch live ( which now includes Irish racing - finally) but if you close the live link for any reason ( like to check your horse colours) the live feed won’t work. I feel like I’m only moaning here but there are so many problems with this app to be listed. I don’t see any benefit in this new app that the simply glorious old app could do. The app responds so slowly that you don’t even get a chance to win or loose money on a bet that you would like to place. Not at any point did I agree to update this app - am I not allowed to control what download or update any more? Progress needs to be progressive.

Absolute crap now

Absolute crap now, too focused on trying to make it look nice and now pages have far too information to load fast, is not user friendly anymore and will no longer use the app. Feels like they got horses to design the back office side of things with it
