I ordered from Raretro after finding they were one of the only places that sold non-xl New 3DS models. My initial order was not at all what I expected, the model was not in the condition described. When I emailed them, they agreed to do an exchange and when they got the return, they agreed, it was not up to standard. They sent me high quality photos of the replacement unit to ensure it was what I ordered and when approved, immediately got it sent back my way. I just received the unit, inspected it, and tested all components and it is perfect. I would completely recommend them, if you are looking for older consoles like I was. They are willing to work with customers to be certain you are getting what you order, and they are small business and we all love that.

I got reccomended this business by someone on Facebook. I messaged them and they got back to me immediately even outside of their business hours. They worked with me to create my dream plates for my new nintendo 3ds and I cannot be any more happy with the results. I would 100 percenf shop here again!

Incredible service and very quick/responsive. This machine will be my daily driver and I will be ordering from this shop in the future to bypass any issues you could possibly have with the 3ds.

They’ve been amazing at walking me through their stock and helping me pick out the best option, even customizing it for me! The 3ds was exactly as pictured and was shipped quickly and securely.

I paid to have them do a USB-C Mod on two DS Consoles, they even told me when they got the consoles, and when they shipped them back. They even came back in really quick fashion. Very happy with their work. Would totally use them again

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Raretro Consoles went above and beyond for my son. We purchased a console quite a while ago and the home button was not working. I kept forgetting to talk to them about it. After emailing them, they ask if I would send it in for them to look at. After receiving it they fixed it and sent it back quickly at no extra cost. They had great communication through the whole process. I would not hesitate to purchase from them I the future. They are a great company with outstanding standards.

After a couple weeks of research, finding the right repair shop for me, I found raretroconsoles. I sent in my original 3DS XL thinking that it was done for since it was pretty much snapped in half and from prior research was supposed to be an impossible repair for many. Through emails they guided me through the repair process and I sent out my console. The quote process and the return shipping were all reasonable pricing, and a great value considering market retail of a slightly used or refurbished handheld. The arrival of my console came with screen protectors and a case. Raretroconsoles is a great business that if in need of a repair, I highly recommend.

This business is amazing and im not just saying that, I have ordered 2 products 2 3DSes different ones, I love them both! Got a second for my wife! Now we can enjoy those games we never got to play as kids together!! They even threw in some freebies! Highly recommend and super fast shipping, even tailored my order to my needs of gaming!

Fantastic experience and customer care! I was saving up to purchase one of their 3DS XL models, when one day it went out of stock. I emailed them asking if the model would ever be put in stock and made available in the future, and they graciously offered to make a new unit just for me when they didn't have to! It was made and shipped within a week after purchase, and they were willing to answer any questions I had.

I only ran into two main issues with the device itself after it was delivered. I additionally had a minor software launching issue, of which they helped me get fixed within 2 hours of me informing them of the issue.
I also had a weird tension issue when using any protective cases which denied the use of the triggers, and although the first fix they gave me didn't work, they offered to send a replacement case and replacement parts free of charge to help me see if it'd fix the issue, and provided me alternative solutions that I will try if it doesn't solve the issue.

Overall, super happy with the production quality and impressed with the level of customer care this small business shows! Hopefully I can get this trigger issue solved, as other than that, their service is perfect. Thanks Raretro!

i got a console from here and it honestly exceeded my expectations. also the system was the real thing and worked perfectly right out of the box, they included some extra accessories which was a really nice bonus!! everything looked well taken care of and high quality

Sold me a fake special edition console. Serial number on console and shell didn’t match, reshelled from aliexpress. Tried to trust a retro game store but they’re scammers. Console isn’t even a US console, it’s Japanese. They scammed many others, look at their reviews on eBay or mercari.

Rarely do you get the three elements of service from a company - speed, quality, and communication. Raretro consoles provided all three.

I trusted them with modifying my Nintendo New 3dsXL and got it back in about a week and a half. Very impressed with the quality of the modification.

Communication is always top notch with Raretro. Jean is an absolute pleasure to work with. She responds to my email within a day or so. They’re always open to ‘how can Raretro help you?” which seems like a rarity these days.

Anyhow I purchased custom gloss buttons for my N3DSXL and it is of high quality. It has the curvature that OEM buttons have. I’ve purchased other custom buttons elsewhere and it was flat, rough and not comfortable to play with after awhile. Since I was highly satisfied with my N3DSXL, I reached out to see if they make custom buttons for the 2DS. Jean reached out and said they’re very busy but she can make a set. Currently in the process of getting that done but overall can’t complain one bit about this business!

I bought a console from Raretro consoles and am very satisfied! Not only did my order arrive quickly but everything was packed perfectly, arrived in great shape, and the quality is even better than I expected! Will definitely buying more in the near future!
