Hi traders, Don't trust this company (Rated people trades) They promised a lot of work in your area but as soon as you registered with them and make the first payment you won't receive any job from them. But they will try to charge £118.80 without your concern. So again traders just be aware of this scam.

ONLY GIVEN A 1 STAR AS CANNOT GIVE LESS, ALL TRADESPEOPLE PAY TO BE ON HERE MOST ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS, FAR BETTER GETTINGH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD WORK DONE. THE BRICKLAYER FROM THIS SITE WAS WORSE THAN USLESS!!!!

I posted a job for my daughter for her toilet not flushing every time.
And straight away Ian was on the case, texted me and was there within a couple of hours, gave us an explanation as to what was wrong and fixed it in quickly.
I always use rated people for any issue we have.

I had a dripping cistern, which must have been leaking for s few days judging by the amount of water on the floor.
It was 8 a.m After a bit of a panic I put the problem on trust a trader and within minutes Curtis phoned me from Evans Plumbing Solutions and said he could be with me about 2pm. Two minutes past 2 he arrived. He looked at what was causing it, told me exactly what was wrong. I told him to carry on and fix it. He did it and left no mess. Everything was put back as it should be. Brilliant service. In my.phone as my go to plumber.

Worse platform, I do not recomend. I paid 2 month subscription and I was never able to acces leads. For a whole month they told me they will sort it out. I cancelled my subscription after a month not being able to use the platform and they still charged me for a second month after my cancellation. They have no valid phone numbers to contact them, I've emailed them several times and I get no reply. DO NOT USE if you don't want to lose money.

Very efficient way to find the right tradesperson .
Website could be tweaked in some ways eg for cancelling the search when it is no longer needed .

My garden was getting me down. The ongoing battle with weeds was being lost. I posted a tidy up and maintenance job on rated people and the response was almost immediate and a tradesman visited in 30 minutes. Garden tidied and high pressure clean to rear garden patio and side driveway. A weed suppressant was applied and garden looks great. Not cheap but three men and equipment plus materials and an instant transformation it seemed fair. Great service and good turn around time.

The extension we had built is great just what we wanted

Within 2hours from looking on line for an electrician Mike rang me to arrange a repair
he arrived shortly after our phone conversation and the light switch was replaced thank you for the quick repair

Fairly new to the area, we needed a plumber for a couple of small non urgent jobs. Unable to obtain a professional through recommendation I looked at this site, read others experiences and placed the job out for tender.
I had 3 responses within 30 minutes and offered the job to Victor (Starhelp) having looked at his previous reviews.
I would recommend using 'Rated People' and will not hesitate to use the site again myself.
The site was easy to navigate/use

Easy to post the job online, including uploading photos. Good communication from the trades person who completed the job to my satisfaction. An easy platform to use.

My experience using ratedpeople was excellent, I would recomend this service for those people looking for tradepersons.

Great work friendly went above wat needed to do

With in a few days I was having my flat packs put together. The workers worked well no mess or tidying up to be done. They stayed until the job was done. So I wasn't left with things half done. I live on my own so it can be daunting. But these guys were a pleasure to open my door to.

I instantly received three interested parties all wishing to quote for the job I posted. They also immediately called on the phone, which surprised me, as I didn’t think I had invited any of them to quote. Nobody else can express an interest once you get three that do. However, two of the three were clearly chancers who had not read about the job and not seen the photographs. One of them told me there weren’t any photos attached, which simply wasn’t the case. Anyway, it’s certainly not a perfect system, but I am ultimately satisfied, as one of the tradesmen who responded did a very good job for me at a price I was comfortable paying and had broadly expected. My feedback to Rated People - allow people to reject interested parties which then means others can respond, and find a way to stop people making contact for jobs that they haven’t bothered to even look at. Also maybe allow more people to express an interest, maybe 5, as 3 seems a low number when you consider the time wasters you’ll have to sift out.

About 10 years ago, this was a great website for finding work. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Back then, there were 40–60, sometimes even over 100 jobs posted every day. Now there are only around 4–10.

I had to register with MyBuilder because there are about 10 times more jobs available there. The only reason I’m still keeping this account is because I have 160 reviews here.

I was very Happy with the work completed By BR Constructon. They where exerllent i would definetly use them again and i would recerrmend them. They where on time and got the job done in time to a good standard
