Horrible poorly written app ....had to contact help weekly because they kept locking my account. Sincerely a complete waste of time.

I earned 10 Bonus Hog Spins for completing the August Harvest Bonus but did not receive them even after sending photos of the eligible receipts. Tried numerous times but no response and NO SPINS.
** Also this app keeps sending me messages stating old receipts, blurry receipts, duplicate receipts, incomplete receipts when this was not accurate.
Also was REJECTING receipts after they previously accepted them in prior months. i.e. Gas station Mobil, Convenience stores 7 - Eleven and Liquor Stores etc.

I have tried several times to log in. Have had so many problems I gave up.

I've always had a great experience with Receipt Hog. Redeeming rewards is typically quick and easy, but I had an issue redeeming a PayPal reward recently, and Julian from customer support helped me resolve the issue and ensured I received the reward right away.

Once I got to a certain level and accrued a very good amount of points - all of a sudden my account was disabled. they used the " you put fraudulent receipts on as a reason - then I had to email MULTIPLE times for them to send me ONE receipt they said was not allowed per their guidelines - and it was a VALID receipt from a $2.99 apple purchase. No one will respond and I am CERTIN it is becasue I never turned in my many points - almost $100 worth and I was at the point I was going to earn almost $10 - $20 more because of the level I was at and they just did not want to pay out - If it was REALLY because of "invalid" receipts they would just take those and the points away. They just want to get your information and not pay out - HOURS of my life wasted!
*Update 9/15/25. They are replying below that my account goes against their " rules"... I have emailed MULTIPLE times asking what I did " wrong". And the only thing that they provided was one image of a receipt that they said was unreadable. As multiple other people have stated on this site, that's part of the problem with receipt hog It doesn't allow for the images to come through correctly all of the time and that is not a failure of us, but rather a failure on them. I was never given any warnings or anything at all All of a sudden I went to login one day as I upload receipts every single day and they had multiple times to tell me that I was uploading something incorrectly and just cut me off. $100 and over 100 spins and even more that was coming my way because of an unreadable receipt? Or who knows what because they can't respond... also the correct thing to do, to keep your customers and your people happy because Lord knows they've gotten lots and lots of information from all of my receipts, is to pay out from the receipts that were correct. And also to give someone a chance instead of just telling them that they are fraudulent which is just a terrible word to use to someone who would never do something like that. - After this - They did end up responding later in day that you cannot send them " e receipts " and that the amount of my earnigs is $40 - they gave an exception and sent me the $40 in a gift card but are not re-enabling my Account - It took a lot of back and forth but at least they did finally come thru. I will change my review to 3 stars - but the way to work with people is to LET THEM KNOW what they are doing tat does not matchup with what your Sponsors want and give them a chance - not just cut them off

Excellent customer service. Even though I was stupid, they didn't make me feel that way. This is an easy app to use and the customer support was outstanding!

I've noticed when you spin the reel when you are given free spins to get extra points, that the real starts with a hog on the left and as soon as it starts spinning after about two spins the hog disappears and it's not on the reel anymore. So there's no way you'll ever get three hogs in a row to get the maximum prize because they've removed the hog from the first reel on the left . I have brought this to their attention a few times that the hog is disappearing

It's funny how when I take a picture of my reciept on fetch it takes it but on this app it won't. It always says old reciept but I just went shopping the day of. Please improve on this or I'm deleting the app

Too many issues trying to photograph a receipt. I look at the picture and the date is clearly visible but it doesn't get checked off. Hit the plus or redo and still have the same issue. Been trying to connect my Chewy account numerous times with no success. Redeeming points seem to work without ant issues.

This app is a complete waste of time. I spent HOURS earning coins, only to find that I cannot redeem my rewards. The app refuses to connect to my working Amazon account, and the codes they sent me do not work.

I contacted support multiple times, explaining everything step by step, but they ignored me or closed my requests without fixing anything. This is misleading and dishonest—they make it look like you can get rewards, but in reality, you cannot.

I would give this app zero stars if I could. Save yourself the frustration and do not use

What a waste of time 4 months of taking time to take a pic of receipt and I’m just now obtaining enough points to get a five dollar gift card. Earned nine spins in the app and not a single winner. Seems to me like someone needs to loosen the purse strings!

I had a issues getting my rewards and most of the time I just give up but not today and i emailed them and was quickly and efficiently helped I was amazed! Thanks receipt hog been a customer for years and I will continue to be!

Doesn't recognize valid receipts. Takes 10x longer to accumulate points. Fetch is much better app.

First I love this app. It makes saving receipts fun and interesting! Second, Julian on the Receipt Hog Support Team is very helpful and understanding! I appreciate the great service!

I'm going to give the application a 4.5 myself overall so far. They are legit on what they say and they do pay our fast as well. Sometimes it doesn't read the receipts correctly so it may reject them...Yet you can usally just try to re-shoot the image in a different way and it will accept it. It does take a touch of work in that manner but as long as it is viewing the images correctly it certainly does what it says.

This app is super easy to use, pays out every time, and their customer service is awesome – they fixed my problem super fast!
