Things seem to get worse and worse with Receipt Hog. Constantly tells me things are blurry - they are NOT. Won’t accept e-receipts? Almost everything I purchase is an e-receipt? Except for gas or an occasional trip to my local produce farm. Are you kidding? I am NOT going to link my Amazon to their site or some of the other places they want you to link. But, WHY don’t they accept e-receipts from all the other stores that they are NOT asking you to link to? I spend more time resubmitting receipts or having to check the image and send back to them to reevaluate. Most NEVER credit me the points. This is becoming way too frustrating. Other point sites that I participate in have NO PROBLEM with every receipt that I submit. They never complain it is blurry or incomplete, etc. Maybe it is time for Receipt Hog to do some updating to their site. They are asking below for the DATE of my experience…this is NOT just one date. This has been going on for months, but it gets worse each week.

Has you take all the surveys but never gives you the coins that it says you will earn…. To me it’s a waste of time.

Any high number like over a 1,000 it refuses and says old receipt the receipt is 1 week old bought a new vechile also refused that receipt

It is not worth wasting your time it takes way to many receipts I've scanned a lot alot of receipts and barely made 10 bucks it's horrible after 2 5 dollar cash outs and thousands of receipts..

I tried to cash out twice with Receipt Hog, both times I received a text or email to redeem but the links never worked. I feel that this app is a scam and a waste of time.

I love this app, out of all the receipt apps I have downloaded on my phone this one is by far the best. All the other ones like CoinOut, Fetch, etc. are horrible. They accuse people of them not submitting their own receipts, which is idiotic. So I have deleted those apps that have accused me of such nonsense. Receipt Hog is amazing and knows how to run an app properly. An app user submits a good bit of receipts for one store doesn’t mean the receipts don’t belong to them. Big family, etc. have a receipt limit like Receipt Hog run your app better. Thank you Receipt Hog

Great all around. It's easy and takes very little time to scanning receipts and then fast when they issue reward payments! The customer support is also fantastic and very polite.

I have two $40 Amazon gift cards and it says copy the security code. Then it says click on redemption you are L and paste to unlock my reward on Hector. Am I supposed to do that? I don’t know how I’m 72 years old and why is this so hard. Barb please help me

This is a fake app today I create account and upload receipt and make a redeem request after few hours they disabled my account even I sent mails on their support but nothing rewards received nor account recover please don't waste your time on this stupid app.

my review is based on my customer experience so basically what happened is that I was shorted on the last gift card I got for Amazon they emailed me to send them a screenshot which I did then they emailed me again saying that they still need a screenshot so I sent another then they said that they still needed one so I sent 3 of them. this has been going back and for about a week and what makes me angry is that they take at least two days to respond it's been about three days since the last screenshot I sent. I wish they would just have an actual person try to help me and I say that because I'm fairly certain they're using an AI or just really one dimensional people cause they don't seem to have enough intelligence to read an invoice or at the very least have the decency to say they're not going to help so they can stop wasting my damn time. I had no problems with the app itself till recently but the service is terrible use at your own discretion

I had to open a support ticket just to create my account because you can't create an account on mobile despite the app showing you all the prompts to input the information, you just never receive the account activation email. The response from support staff was prompt, presumably because they're being paid for speed and not quality. It seemed like they had read the subject line of my email and nothing else. I got passive aggressive answers unrelated to my questions. I got barely a month's worth of use out of the app, not even enough time to earn a single reward, before I started getting an error message every time I tried to submit a receipt. This "service" isn't worth the time or the frustration it takes to use it, frankly it's not worth anything.

Small amounts of money but better than nothing. You take pictures of receipts for money.

The app does not allow the required “device verification” to go through. I typed my phone number and the “next” button turns green but when I click on it the screen freezes and does nothing. The “request a call” link is also dead. And now I can’t redeem my points.

They contacted me 2 days later and fixed the issue. Back to normal now.

They were great at the start of the Covid when I started using it for receipt scanning points. Receiving lots of little payouts like $5-$10 Amazon-other gift cards I could use online or for physical merchant purchases.... until they weren't.
Fast fwd 2024, they've turned to junk, with e-receipts never connecting including Amazon. Just sit on your phone spinning into oblivion, or crashing the app all together. Many screenshots taken before contacting their said Support - a lame-*** ticket you don't know even processes until you receive a 2nd BOT response in your email that they're "working on it...their apologies" blah blah. Then zero follow-up. Their Playstore ratings used to be a stellar 4.7. Now it's a lame 3.8 if that tells you anything... Totally no longer worth it. Can't even cash in my current points.

Every since the first of the month I only get 1 or 5 points on every receipt. Before that it was based on the total of the receipt for the first hundred, then 5 for the other receipts till you get to 20 receipts. It took away my progressive bar that resets every 8 days to show when you get your hundred points. I have reset the app 2 times abd nothing works. I have always loved receipt hog and never had any problems. If you are suppose to get the first hundred points based on the total amount of each receipt, you should be able to fix this problem. It states less than $10.00 - 5 coins. 10.00-49.99-10 coins,50.00-99.99 -15 coins, over 100.00 - 20 coins. Then 5 coins for all other receipts. Can you not fix this problem and make this good as it was.

It's not worth it. They have "thresholds" and limits. You can only get coins for a certain amount of receipts each week and half of the time they rip you off and don't give them to you at all. $5 a month AT THE MOST is NOT worth all the work you have to do to get it. On top of that, the app doesn't work half the time. Don't waste your time. It's genuinely not worth it.

Takes way too long to get anything been doing it almost a year and can’t even get a $25 reward and the free spins are worthless, never get anything over 5 and 10 coins 😡

I have been using for 10 years. Please do not download this app. The customer service is terrible and nonexistent. The app glitches and they will not credit your account. It takes several tries to get an emailed response. They do not payout your money.

Emailed again with no resolution. As stated above, do not download app or sign up. Cheers.

I redeemed some coins to put money in pay pal they took my coins but I received nothing.

I tried to cash in my Visa card and had problems chasing in on it. I feel like this sight is a fraud because I can never get my rewards.
