This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a review for any company. That alone should tell you how serious this experience has been. I am warning anyone considering using this company: do not do business with them.
In my experience, this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, for the following reasons:
1) They are completely unreliable.
They send email confirmations stating they are due to collect your vehicle, then simply do not turn up. They then create another collection booking at random... and, unbelievably, fail to show up for that one too.
2) They are dishonest.
When you call to ask where they are, you are told the driver is "on the way." That statement proved to be false every single time. No one arrives, and no one follows up.
3) Their customer service reflects a company that is accustomed to disappointing customers.
The call handlers seem entirely familiar with these complaints, and their response is always the same:
They transfer you to Dispatch, where you reach nothing but voicemail.
They refuse to let you speak to a manager, who is apparently always "in the yard."
They ignore your concerns and simply try to book yet another collection they cannot guarantee will actually happen.
This isn't customer service, it's damage control.
4) They are hypocritical.
When they want your business, they have no problem calling you immediately. But when you need to make a complaint, you're directed to a claims at redcorn dot co dot uk email with no opportunity to speak to anyone accountable.
5) They have absolutely no respect for your time.
They won't even provide a collection time slot, leaving you waiting around all day for a driver who never arrives. Time is valuable. Wasting an entire day because a company cannot honour its own appointments is unacceptable.
In my case, my vehicle was sitting at the dealership, fully prepared for collection, on two separate occasions. The dealership had arranged everything, only for Redcorn to fail to turn up both days without explanation. I am now forced to find another company to do the job, which has been both inconvenient and embarrassing.
6) Their online reputation does not reflect the service they provide.
Based on my experience, I genuinely struggle to believe the Google star rating accurately represents the level of service customers receive. The website presents a professional, competent business, but the reality bears little resemblance to that image.
You have been duly warned. If you choose to book with this company, be prepared to lose your time, your patience, and potentially money dealing with the consequences of their failures.
If anyone from Redcorn is reading this, take this as a wake-up call. A business cannot continue operating like this indefinitely. The repeated missed collections, lack of accountability, poor communication, and apparent indifference towards customers are entirely self-inflicted problems. This level of service has no place in a competitive market.

Very poor experience from start to finish.
I provided Refcorn Used Car Parts with all of my vehicle’s details before collecting the part to ensure I was supplied with the correct suspension strut. I then made a 42-mile round trip and paid the toll charge to collect it.
When I fitted the part, I discovered they had supplied the wrong suspension strut.
I contacted them straight away, expecting them to resolve the problem. Instead, I was told to return the incorrect part for an exchange. I explained that the error was theirs and that it wasn’t reasonable to expect me to make another 42-mile round trip and pay the toll again because of their mistake. I asked if they could simply post the correct part, but they initially refused.
After almost a week of unnecessary back and forth, they eventually agreed to send the replacement by post. Even then, there was no apology for the inconvenience, no acknowledgement of their mistake, and no urgency in putting things right.
What frustrated me most was the way I was treated. Rather than taking responsibility for supplying the wrong part, I was made to feel as though I was trying to get something for nothing. As a genuine customer who had provided all the correct information and simply expected the correct part, that was completely unacceptable.
Everyone can make mistakes, but good customer service is about accepting responsibility and resolving problems professionally. Unfortunately, Refcorn did neither.
I won’t be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable parts or decent customer service.
Predatory Valuation and Confusing Administrative Advice.
Predatory Valuation and Confusing Administrative Advice.
I have formally lodged a complaint with Redcorn regarding the vehicle collection and purchase transaction completed on 23 June 2026. Purchase Amount Paid: £205.00.
I am deeply dissatisfied with both Redcorn's valuation process and the confusing advice provided by collection staff regarding the transfer of ownership. First, I accepted Redcorn's offer of £205 under the explicit impression that my vehicle was being purchased at a fair scrap weight market value. I have since discovered that my vehicle is being marketed by Redcorn for a retail price exceeding £1200 on there auction site. While businesses operate for profit, a markup of this magnitude is predatory. The valuation deliberately exploited my lack of industry knowledge to acquire a highly profitable asset and because the vehicle was kept for retail rather than being destroyed, the initial assessment of the car's value was fundamentally misleading.
The guy who collected the car was very pleasant and helpful, however, I was provided with confusing advice by telling me I could simply remove ownership online. While I was left with the V5C/3 slip, the main body of the logbook was taken, meaning I did not have the required 11-digit document reference number to use the DVLA’s digital portal. This misinformation has forced me to handle the notification via post, leaving me waiting while the DVLA manually processes the change of keeper. Redcorn, please log this as a formal complaint on your system. I expect a written response within 14 days detailing how your underwriting team justifies a £205 valuation for an asset your sales team values at over £1,250.

Very bad customer service
I bought a part from here then asked for refund however they failed to refund and instead just gave me credit. Customer service is very poor and rude. It’s not worth buying here

Much loved mini
Much loved mini
My daughter had to get rid of her much loved Mini convertible as the cost of repair was high and it was 18 yrs old but only had 44000 miles on the clock so a good engine. We looked at many ways to let it go . We settled on REDCORN who were recommended by our garage . Anyway Atilla arrived eventually last Tuesday having to navigate how to get to us without getting trapped under two bridges 🤦♀️ we helped as much as we could . He sensed this was a sad day for my daughter . He was kind , and considerate in not rushing the goodbyes . REDCORN you are very lucky to have such a great employee who represents you very well . A 5 star review that was well earned 🙏
Fantastic company
Fantastic company and for the motor trades even on a Easter holiday
Awful experience
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Redcorn was so disappointing that I feel others should be aware before using them.
I was quoted £154 for my car and booked a collection for Monday, with a very wide time window given. Because of this, I couldn’t take or collect my son from school and had to arrange alternative transport, all while waiting in for them to arrive. I made it clear to them that I needed the money urgently, as it was my son’s birthday the following day and we had plans.
Despite waiting all day, I heard nothing. I called multiple times and was repeatedly brushed off, told “they’ll be there” or that “if it hasn’t been cancelled, it will happen.” Later in the day, instead of being helped, I was repeatedly redirected to voicemail with no updates. By late afternoon, it was obvious no one was coming, yet I was still fobbed off with promises of an “urgent call back” that never happened.
As a result, my son’s birthday plans were affected, which was genuinely upsetting for both of us. What made this worse was the complete lack of communication, accountability, or even a basic apology.
To add insult to injury, I then received a call three days later. I was genuinely shocked they were calling at all after what had happened. When I asked why they were calling, I was met with a patronising “right, shall we start again?”, spoken to me as if I were a child rather than a customer who had been let down and treated poorly.
At that point, I put the phone down as I no longer wanted any further dealings with Redcorn. Quite frankly, I was taken aback by the tone. I would have expected any normal company to call to apologise and take accountability, but instead I was met with sarcasm and a dismissive attitude, as if they had done nothing wrong and it was unreasonable for a customer to be upset.
What followed was a cancellation message written in capital letters stating that I had said CUSTOMER HANG UP SAYING WHY ARE WE CALLING CANCEL. While that is true, the message itself was incredibly unprofessional. There was no apology, no accountability, and no recognition of the poor service I had received, just an expectation that I would want to continue dealing with them.
In contrast, I ended up using ASM Ltd, and the difference was night and day. They were polite, clear, reliable, and did exactly what they said they would do. The collection was smooth, on time, and handled professionally from start to finish.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before using Redcorn. Poor communication, unreliable service, and dismissive customer care made what should have been a simple process unnecessarily stressful.
Expect to be disappointed.
DO NOT USE.
Booking in the vehicle was smooth, but on two separate occasions they have simply not shown up at the agreed time to collect the vehicle and have not bothered to keep in touch with updates. The office staff simply dismiss you and pass you onto Dispatch, and the staff at Dispatch won't bother ringing you back with any updates or news.
Received excellent service from Amit
Received excellent service from Amit , called before letting me know when he would be arriving to collect the car, was very polite and professional a credit to the company
Sneaky tactics
Agreed a price of £834 for my car, arranged collection, then on the day of collection called to say because of an issue with the car I had already made them aware of, they could only £634. Another company that quoted me had warned me some companies will low ball the agreed price on the day of collection as they expect people just to accept it. Very sneaky and underhand tactics.
Shouldn’t be allowed and these companies should be regulated. Would not recommend. Go to scrapmycarcomparison instead, they were honest and upfront from the start and in the end, gave me the best price.
Never turned up
Never turned up, had to wait in my home from 7am to 7pm. Called them at 4pm and they told me “it could still turn up past 5” so now I’ve wasted a day, stuck at home for 12 hours with no result
Wast of time
Waited in all day to have them cancel at 5pm. Wast of time. And I had to phone them.
Did not collect on pre arranged day.
Vehicle booked in for collection 23rd Feb. Driver messaged me at 6.30 to confirm he’d be with me and would call when he was half hour away. 7.30, message to say lorry broken down, another driver coming. Called Redcorn at 11.45 to confirm that another driver was coming, yes absolutely!! 14.23 get a call from Redcorn that my driver is coming right now. I said (aware that it was getting late for a driver to get back to base) that another day was fine if it was a problem. Told that it wasn’t a problem, driver is on route. Tried to call at 16.30, straight to answerphone. Waited till 18.00 & gave up. Got a call 26th Feb asking if I still want vehicle collected.
Used to be a really good company to deal with and I’d always recommend them to others but having gone elsewhere and received an outstanding service with prompt collection I don’t think I’ll be recommending in future.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. I understand unexpected things can happen, just keep customers informed with accurate honest information.
Scratch my car
Red cone was the best price I was given. I searched the web and they come up the best easy transaction come when they said collected the car no problem. Money in my account next day no equivalent great company very pleased with the outcome.
