Great quality kitchen with a sleek look
A total kitchen remodel is pricey and a big commitment. Doing it all online makes it also quite nerve-wrecking. But we had a great experience with our designer Alex Wilson and the cabinets arrived within the quoted timeframe. We were kept informed by the Customer Success Team and a minor glitch was quickly remedied without any extra cost. Very happy about our experience and the new kitchen looks great.
Problem after problem after problem
Our family's decision to use Reform for our kitchen renovation was based primarily on the positive experiences our neighbors had using this company. We saw their whole process: from the design process with their designer Alex, through the manner in which their kitchen was delivered and clearly labeled for installation, to the final product that truly did give them their dream kitchen. Thus, we turned to Reform when it was our turn to renovate our home.
We had an opposite experience each step of the way with our $68,205.42 investment with Reform. To start, our designer, new to the company, worked on a part-time basis and was elusive with communication and work scheduling throughout the design process. I had already done a lot of work with Ikea in building an outline of our kitchen project. Despite the outline already being established, it took a month of meeting with Kateryna to finalize our Reform design. This was 8 months ago, and because of the multiple issues we have had with our kitchen, the project is still not completed.
There were SO MANY design flaws in our Reform kitchen. Our kitchen was ordered with miscalculated sizes on drawers and appliance panels, mismatched materials for built-in storage units, miscalculated sizes on countertops, dead space that can no longer have any use in our kitchen. Our installer had to cut into/build into the wall to accommodate design errors, resulting in reduced counter space. We still have not figured out how to remedy the issue of unusable drawers below our sink due to sizing issues with our garbage disposal. Instead of an appliance panel for our beverage refrigerator, the order specified a drawer front— an issue that requires modification on the panel to install, and therefore voiding the warranty on the panel.
Our Reform kitchen arrived with no installation guide. Emails to Reform for troubleshooting support often left us waiting for several days to get a response. Labels appeared to have been misfed through a printer, with information cut off at edges. Ink appeared to have run out when printing labels on some boxes, and SO MUCH time was required to attempt to decipher the packaging within our mountains of Reform items. We were emailed lists of labels to compare against what we received. Customer service explained that this can happen because multiple language translations are required when processing a Reform order. We worked with an experienced installation team, and nearly four weeks were required to install our Reform kitchen and storage units. This was nearly $20,000 spent in labor with Reform throughout the summer, an additional $3,600 at the rental apartment our family utilized during renovations, and more money will be invested for labor when we finally do receive the parts we are still awaiting. All in, we are looking at nearly $100,000 with Reform and I feel drained on so many levels.
Fast forward to early October 2024 (eight months after beginning our Reform project), and we received news that replacement panels were out for delivery this week. I scheduled to have the installation team back on site and what we received was SOMEONE ELSE’S Reform order, which was obviously totally unusable for us. We were therefore tasked with the additional job of helping Reform identify what parts we received to help them problem-solve whose shipment we received.
I have one-year-old and three-year-old sons. We have saved up for years and years to embark on this renovation project. I work full time and have been managing the renovation of our home. The amount of time and energy required to oversee and manage our Reform order and its ongoing mistakes has been overwhelming. Customer service has disclosed that our designer was inexperienced and that our neighbors received the best designer in the company. To me, this is beyond unacceptable to provide such different standards to customers making the same sizeable financial investment with the company. The stress of this project has been so great that I would never recommend Reform to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen.
Very friendly contact and coordination
Order from IKEA instead
To begin with the positives: the kitchens are beautifully designed (though the quality is just "ok," not outstanding).
However, we experienced numerous issues with Reform that ultimately led to this 1-star review. The first problem was with the delivery. We placed our kitchen order early in our renovation process. The salesperson assured us we could order and pay upfront to lock in the price, and that they would delay the delivery and store the kitchen for us. We agreed to this, but a year later (our renovations took longer than expected), Reform started pushing for delivery, despite their promise to hold it.
When the kitchen was finally delivered, the mushroom color was different from the samples we had received from Reform and from the linoleum manufacturer, Forbo. It resembled the color Vapour more than Mushroom, despite us ordering Mushroom. Reform explained that, as a natural material, the color could vary, and we reluctantly accepted this and went for a different solution (we ended up painting the kitchen fronts to solve the issue ourselves).
Up to this point, we would have still rated the company 3 or 4 stars, especially as the customer service people were generally nice along the way.
However, the major issue arose when we installed the countertop. We had received detailed drawings from Reform specifying the exact dimensions of the kitchen. Based on those measurements, we ordered a countertop. According to Reform, the countertop length should have been 4219 mm, but we added a margin for safety and ordered a 4223 mm stainless steel countertop. To our surprise, the countertop ended up more than a centimeter short. It turned out the 80 cm cabinets were actually, on average, 80.3 cm. We had to send back our €3789 countertop, and now we're facing a delay of at least 3-4 weeks and thousands of euros in additional costs. Fortunately, we have taken measurements, photos, and videos, so we were confident Reform would cover the cost of the new countertop. But when we actually emailed them with all the evidence and our complaint, they first went silent and then after a week they emailed accusing us of exaggerating the problem (saying that the countertop must only be a mm too short while instead it was more than a centimeter too short). We are now trying to fight this and will go to court if necessary but it is insane that they make this so extremely painful.
Please, do not order from this company. While their designs may appear superior to IKEA, the quality is poor, and the service is worse than you'd expect for the price you pay.
Great Design, Great Quality and Great Experience
It had been a while I was lusting after the DEGREE kitchen from Reform and my dream has finally come true ;).
All the planning phase has been pretty long but it was necessary as we went through all the smallest details. Nicolas from Reform was very helpful as he warned us of all the possible issues we could encounter during the renovation of our kitchen and some of his advices helped us avoiding some mistakes in the design of our kitchen space.
The shipping and delivery went well. It was quite a big delivery and although I was worried some bits could be missing, everything was there.
We are very happy of the kitchen overall, the drawers' and the material quality is obvious and the result looks just as we had imagined it.
I had a truly excellent experience

Brilliant customer service
I had been looking at a reform kitchen for a long time as I think the designs are different, high quality and will stand the test of time. All the designers who helped me create the perfect kitchen were so helpful and knowledgeable, offering their ideas and expertise, as well as making me feel really comfortable about my more modest budget. Thanks Frederikke, Dominik and Laura!
When it came to delivery, my kitchen was ready before I could install it due to time slippages on my renovation project. Again the team were so helpful, securing additional storage for me until it was ready to ship.
I was prepared for some bumps in the road shipping a kitchen to the UK, and on the day of delivery only about half the kitchen turned up. This could have been a disaster but the team at reform went above and beyond. They were so helpful and really understood and empathised with my stress levels at this point! They sorted everything in a matter of days, locating the missing parcel and arranging quick delivery to me. There were no unforeseen costs with shipping and importing and every single piece down to the last screw arrived. Thank you Natcha and Maia, you were both fantastic!
I have not installed the kitchen yet so hoping it goes smoothly but wanted to leave this review at this stage to say that reform as a whole have been fantastic with their communication and customer service from the outset. Given I've been talking to various people for a few years now, it's really impressive to keep this level of consistently high customer service. Thanks to all involved

Very quick response to our request and the touch up pen (to cover some damage to one of our panels) was delivered within days! Great service
Nice kitchen, professional staff
We recently had two different projects where we work with Reform to build our clients their kitchens. William is the designer with whom we mainly work with. He's patient, easy to communicate with, and very resourceful to accommodate the project needs. We also work with Michaela briefly when William is away, who's also very professional and helpful.
We are yet to receive the kitchen and see how it turns out, but we are quite excited about it.

Great customer service
Dante was fantastic - very attentive and proactive and great at making suggestions to create a final design I was really happy with.
We had great experience thanks to Laura
We had great experience designing and ordering the kitchen. Laura was extremely helpful and very nice to work with. We had a small hiccup with the delivery which was quickly resolved after a few emails. We built the kitchen ourselves. The provided documentation was helpful but in terms of difficulty expect a level or two above Ikea. We have been using our kitchen for almost a year now. We love the design both esthetically and from a practical stand point. The fittings and the finish kept up very well with daily use so far.
We so wanted to like their kitchens, but…..
We so wanted to like their kitchens. We had an initial design from the San Francisco showroom. Next step was to have their professional kitchen designers come up with a detailed design. $ 500 later we have a horrible looking PDF file that is not even showing the kitchen and counter in a somewhat realistic space. The “designer” had no suggestions and was absolutely useless. We will not go ahead with them since this design experience was already such a downer. 5/31/24 UPD - since I can't respond to the regional manager and she didn't leave email or contact - my response is that please don't tell us that we will get a realistic rendering of our kitchen plus have a designer "work" with us to come up with options or solutions. This is why we agreed to pay $500 up front. The service we received was under the standard IKEA is offering. Seriously. And acknowledging that your visualization lacks muster after the fact, is not cool either and doesn't help us right now. I would think a partial refund of our $500 would be more appropriate.
