How is this place allowed to continue staying in business?
Rent Plus aka rent dynamics has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. They are an absolute scam. I did not knowingly sign up for this service and was completely unaware I was being enrolled and charged until months later. By the time I realized what was happening, I had already been paying the additional $10 per month for quite some time. This service was tied to my apartment lease paperwork, but it was never clearly explained to me. I do not recall authorizing these charges, and I certainly did not understand that I would be automatically billed every month. Discovering months later that I had been paying for something without fully knowing about it is incredibly concerning. Since moving in June 2025, not one of my on-time rent payments has been reported to the credit bureaus. I consistently pay my rent in full, and often a month ahead, yet there has been no reflection of this on my credit report. So what exactly have I been paying for? Attempts to contact the company have gone nowhere. Phone calls are not answered, emails are not returned, and opting out has been unnecessarily difficult. I was told I would receive a full refund, but that has not happened. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and continued billing without delivering the promised benefit have left me feeling taken advantage of. I strongly urge others to carefully review their lease documents and monthly statements. I am still demanding a full refund and proper resolution.
