They delivered one of them items more than two months after the purchase, when I inquired about the other two items, they said there was a pricing error on their end and they need me to pay $35 extra for each item for them to ship. Absolutely ridiculous and illegal what they're doing. You can't sell something for a price and then change your mind and charge extra. That is literally against the law. I would stay clear.

Residence Supply Brass Dimmer Switch (Triac / Leading Edge) IS NOT the reccomended dimmer to use with LED fixtures
The Residence Supply brass dimmer switch is a Triac (leading-edge) dimmer, which is older technology primarily designed for incandescent bulbs. These dimmers typically do not provide a full dimming range for most LED fixtures.
In my case, the dimming range was limited to approximately 85–100% brightness. By comparison, my previous dimmer on the same light fixtures provided a much broader and more usable range of about 20–100%, which many consumers expect from modern LED-compatible (ELV / trailing-edge) dimmers.
The product specification description uses the term “Triac / Leading Edge” but does not clearly explain that this type of dimmer often has limited compatibility and reduced performance with LEDs. Many customers reasonably assume that a dimmer currently being sold will function well with contemporary LED lighting, which is not necessarily true with this product.
After discovering the performance issue, I contacted the company to request a return. Unfortunately:
• The return policy is only 14 days
• If you purchase matching wall plates or outlets to coordinate with the dimmer, you will be stuck with them if you later discover the dimmer’s limited performance
• When I asked to escalate my concern, I was left on hold for two hours before the call was disconnected
• My follow-up email and phone call were not returned
• A refund was not offered
Because of this experience, I would encourage buyers to:
✔ Verify that their fixtures specifically support Triac dimming
✔ Research the difference between Triac (leading-edge) and ELV (trailing-edge) dimmers before purchasing
✔ Have an electrician available to test within the short return window
✔ Be aware that LED dimming range may be limited with this product
Due to both the product limitations and the lack of customer service follow-up, I will not be specifying these products for my home or for client projects in the future.

Great look and feel, unfortunately, not compatible
Great look and feel, solid, robust. However, I selected a dimmer that doesn't use the same frequency as my led lights in my bathroom so it caused a slight hum. Adjusting the settings didn't help so I remlvered back to my original switch unfortunately. Now I am stuck with a switch and dimmer that I can't use.

Stay Away. Don't bother. Disappointment.
Ordered a light fixture back in September 2025. Package was not received until a month later. It took another month before renovations were nearly complete before the light could be mounted.
Upon opening the package 1 month late, the quality of the fixture was underwhelming and not what I was led to believe I would get based on the product page.
One aspect of the fixture had a different color, almost as if they forgot to spray paint it. The other plastic pieces were slightly loose and did not feel luxury at all. You can see the gaps in the plastic covering over the LED strip.
I reached out to support and greatly appreciated their help. The customer service rep was very respectful and I cannot fault her one bit.
After waiting another 2 months (Nov -> Jan), the factory confirmed they were able to ship me a replacement, with photo evidence that I would receive what was pictured.
To my surprise, opening up the replacement package today (1/24), not only was the color issue not addressed, the fixture is in the wrong size! They sent me the smaller version instead of the one I ordered.
If this isn't product fraud, I don't know what is.
Very disappointing. I've been waiting to use this fixture in my dining room for a long time.

This is an astonishing company. Their products (in our case, many switches and gang plates) are beautiful, and the customer service experience has been unmatched. When doing a renovation with so many moving parts and companies to deal with, it was a pleasure to work with Residence Supply. We had *many* questions and details to sort out, and Sarah and others provided very helpful and quick feedback, even helping to put together orders and invoices for combinations of products we couldn't figure out on the website on our own. Ultimately we had to return some of the dimmer switches because of incompatibility with our lighting -- so do be aware particularly if you are using LED lights of the ELV variety. However, Residence was very helpful in diagnosing and trying to find solutions and allowing us to return the things that wouldn't work for us. Further, the product is so beautiful that it broke our hearts to send any of it back!

A scam website marking up other low quality products
These are very low quality products that are just markups from other cheap companies. They don't even try to hide it - I ordered a handle from them and it came in a Dooroom branded box, which is over half the price on the the Dooroom website ($84 on Dooroom vs $200 on RS). Residence Supply is just a scam website with slick and questionable marketing practices. Their 50% restocking fee emphasizes their low quality: they know most folks will receive their product and be unhappy. Companies that make high quality, trusted products not only reduce or avoid such fees, but make returns easier because they have confidence in their product.
In their response to this comment, they are clearly dishonest - "Packaging can vary depending on logistics and does not reflect the origin or quality of the product itself. Our products are not resold items from other retail brands." - the product was literally in another brand's box, I can see this with my eyes. You can lie and manipulate online but in real life I can see with my eyes that the product objectively came from another company.
Most of the positive reviews I have found online appear to be bots with similar cadence. If you go to the U.S. Better Business Bureau you will see they are not accredited and have a rating of "F" with 100% one-star reviews (17 out of 17 -star). This, literally, could not be a worse company.
