Ordered a jersey and received an email on 11th March saying it had been dispatched (tracking number provided). Checked Royal Mail daily and still showing as due to be received from sender. Have been chasing RetroSoccerKits via email and their website but no response or acknowledgement. Paid for delivery within 4-6 days but still not received. All I can say is please be wary when ordering. I will be chasing via by bank is the jersey has not been received in the next couple of days

Really poor customer service.

I ordered a shirt on 24th February, with advertised delivery of 4-6 days. I repeatedly chased with no contact initially.

I received a response on 18th March, saying they were looking into as Royal Mail May have lost the item.

I have subsequently chased for either a refund or clarity on delivery and no response.

I would urge you to steer clear of this website as appears a scam.

Below lists the facts relating to my experience. This has still not been resolved.

Facts:
24.2 product ordered with 4-6 day delivery.
9.3 chased delivery- no response
11.3 chased delivery- no response
16.3 chased delivery- no response
18.3 I receive a vague email with an implication that Royal Mail may have lost my delivery
19.3 chased for update- no response
21.3 chased for update- no response
25.3 you inform me that it has been lost, so are sending another. You ask me if I’m happy with a smaller size, which I accept providing I revive proof of postage. No proof received
26.3 chased delivery- no response
27.3 chased again- no response
28.3 provided with a ‘Royal Mail’ tracking number. On checking with Royal Mail, this is an incorrect tracking number and advised to contact company.
2.4 emailed requesting refund. No response

Ordered a jersey more than a week ago, still hasnt arrived & looks like it hasn't been dispatched yet - i received a confirmation email but the royal mail tracking website says they're still waiting for it. It was meant to be a bday present and it was meant to arrive on time but now I fear it won't. Contacted them two days in a row with absolutely no response - it's honestly frustrating.

My son is truly delighted with these shirts. I’ve knocked a star off as one of the badges wasn’t affixed properly but he still loved them and wouldn’t allow me to return. They are well packaged and material is of a high standard. We will certainly be ordering more.

After writing a review retrosoccerkits finally got in touch with me and sent my other top. I still think that the customer service team need to improve and answer problems a lot quicker.

Absolutely amazing quality of shirt would definitely recommend buying from here. Only small problem was the minor delay but they helped fix the problem.

Was quick at processing the
Initial order. As with other recent reviews the delivery was later as expected, but when contacted they responded to my queries and put my concerns at ease.

This was a birthday present and it was 100% worth the delay. My husband loved the top and now my son is wanting to get others ordered. The quality is great.

I ordered a shirt, received my tracking information but sadly it never updated an no shirt arrived, so why have I given 5 stars you may ask. I contacted RetroSoccerKits via their Web page, as they indicate this is a quicker way than just email, they asked me to wait a couple of days, but when still nothing arrived, I got in touch again, they were extremely helpful and apologised and stated they would send a replacement the next day. The replacement has arrived and my son is over the moon with it. . .
So 5 stars is for their Prompt Despatch (although first shirt went missing once they can not be held responsible for courier)
Good Communication
First class product

Delivery was slightly later than i was told but 100% worth the wait. Can't fault the quality of the items. I will be ordering from here again

I was cautious after seeing other reviews on here but their was nothing to worry about. The delay delivery i later found was a royal mail issue, not one of Retro Soccer Kits.

Will keep this factual, I placed my initial order on Feb 16th 2024 ordering 3 tops under the 3 for 2 deal.
I had taken note of the warehouse change mentioned on the website, my order was placed after this process was stated to have been completed.
Order shipment sent by the company Feb 22nd
First chaser sent Feb 27th
First mention of the order being incomplete Feb 29th (to confirm after the full order shipment was confirmed on the 22nd and then I was advised one of the tops was out of stock)
Multiple other chasing emails sent right up to March 2nd which includes a request to swap the out of stock top for another
We are now on March 11th there is no confirmation that they have processed the product swap. Factually that is 19 working days (based on Royal Mail delivering on Saturdays) and the full order is as of yet not fulfilled.
2 of the 3 tops arrive March 5/6

In terms of the quality of the tops themselves, two I have received so far are great!! Everything down to the labels looks the part, so in short I cannot fault the quality of the products.

* update we are now on March 14th a brief response from the company did come through two days ago advising they were speaking with their packing team and would know more within an hour of sending said response to me…nearly two days later and still no further forward with fulfilling my original order and completing the swap out for the out of stock item.
So we are still in a position that the comms are severely lacking which impacts the sales and service experience.
Which is a massive shame for how good the products are

*UPDATE it is now March 23rd and I have still to receive my final top. It was “dispatched” on March 14th on Royal Mail 48 tracked (shipping within 2-3 working days)
My assumption is that the company are operating a drop shipping model, meaning they are taking orders from uk customers, forwarding those orders to a foreign based supplier who then start the shipping process. Which goes towards explaining why it’s common that they do not complete orders within their stated 4-6 working days

*UPDATE March 26th 3rd top finally arrived. Undoubtedly great quality which is still not in question. And for non licensed replicas…great value for money as well.
Now that I’ve received all 3 tops I’ve updated my overall score to a 3 due to the quality of the products.
However, I cannot praise the fact that the comms requires improvements (little things like an email signature and a name for a level of professionalism goes a long way) and the time taken to fulfill the original order isn’t acceptable.

Great products great value just be clear on your expectations on how long the delivery will take

Edit I have received the shirts, 2 were absolutely perfect and 1 has a crease where the sponsor was printed on. Have received an email to say a replacement will be sent out. Would be 5* if they communicated with the customer.
Have ordered from this site in February, still no sign of my order and royal mail still saying they haven't received it. I have emailed twice now about my order to get no response. If there's no communication within the next week I will have to open a fraud investigation with my bank.

great item and great to deal with. will def purchase again

Great quality tops! I ordered three on the buy two get one free deal and all are great. The only thing I would say is I would probably size up on a future order.
There was a slight delay with posting but the company were great at communicating and keeping me informed.
I’ve already recommended the site to friends who have commented on my top and I can’t wait until there’s a child’s option in my team to make another order!!!

currently the 7th of march Royal Mail still says there waiting for it no communication what so ever from the store ignored all emails and messages sent direct to me them through there website

11th of march
Orders finally arrived ac Milan kit was good quality and fit well I also ordered a retro Germany top from euro 1990 Germany top that was abit tight for a 2XL but stretched and a Byern Munich retro top that was the same and had similar issues

All in all bar lack of communication I wasn’t unhappy with my experience just don’t expect it in 4-6 days

I have just made another order and look forward to this one

The slight delay in getting my shirts was the only reason this isn’t a 5 star review. Clear communication provided and they resolved my delay super quick once I contacted them. The shirts are awesome, takes me right back to 86.

I ordered on the 16th of February and my items were delivered on the 5th of March. The shirts I ordered were definitely worth the wait hence the 5 star rating. The website is genuine just be patient. I hope this helps and reassures people who are currently waiting.
