Hannah Holman was very helpful, kept me informed and in the loop with good communication at every stage.

Having used RG Law on several occasions over many years for purchase and sale (and been extremely satisfied) I am now deeply disappointed in the lack of service regarding the registration of my house with Land Registry. Three years after my purchase my home remains unregistered with Land Registry. I discovered this only by searching Land Registry records for my property. RG Law's Post Completion department are completely silent at my attempts to reach them. Emails and voicemail messages to the Post Completion Department are unanswered and in spite of repeated requests for clarity and information I have been left completely in the dark. I have left 5 star reviews for this company in the past but now would not recommend them or at the very least, proceed with caution when it comes to the post purchase service. There may well be a valid reason for the non registration but RG Law are not responding to my polite requests for information and communication. Be aware that RG Law are not members of the Law Society and not regulated by them. Their regulatory body is the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC). I am hoping that someone at RG Law's Post Completion department in Kent will see this review and get in touch with me.

I feel the need to leave a review to warn others about our recent experience with RG Law in York.

After initially receiving excellent communication from the sales team to get our case on board, things quickly deteriorated. We were in a short chain, with a first-time buyer purchasing our property and our onward purchase being a vacant property, so everyone was hoping for a relatively quick and straightforward transaction. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

During our transaction, three separate members of staff left the business. Each time, the case was handed over to someone new who appeared to have to familiarise themselves with it from scratch, resulting in additional delays of weeks, and in some cases months.

Queries that had already been raised and answered were not forwarded to our seller until a month later, causing significant frustration and leading them to threaten to withdraw from the sale. Direct phone numbers provided for our case handler regularly went straight to voicemail, and when emails were not being responded to, it became almost impossible to get an update.

To add to this, months after receiving our final invoice and completion statement, we have now received an impersonal email advising that we owe additional money for a search that was apparently omitted from the original bill.

Overall, what should have been a relatively straightforward transaction took more than eight months to complete. The poor communication, repeated staff changes, and apparent internal issues made the process far more stressful than it needed to be.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend RG Law in York and would not use them again.

What a fantastic experience dealing with Hannah Holman at RG Law. Hannah was so patient, polite and understanding, especially when I got a little flustered if I did not quite understand anything. Hannah always explained everything clearly to me and helped me fill in all the forms correctly. Lovely lady, great firm.

Josh and Fran were exceptional throughout the entire process. The efficiency and clarity with which they communicated was second to none.

The project needed to be completed quickly due to changing family circumstances and they acted with every lever they had to pull to make this happen. We completed in 7 weeks - a third of the UK average time.

This is my 3rd purchase and I've never worked with a better legal team.

I had a terrible experience with RG Law. Sale of two of my properties was with RG Law. Biggest issue was, ''THERE WAS NEVER ANY CASE MANAGER AVAILABLE TO TALK TO AND NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS EITHER!.
They kept my cases for 6 months and changed 7 case managers (can you believe) with none doing anything. Each one of them, kept on asking for the same documents- TR form etc that I had submitted 7 -8 times. They would not bother to look at the case notes as none took any responsibility and just to fill the gap, would ask for same document again. Everytime I called (I ended up making atleast 50 phone calls to the answer machines and after 3-4 weeks would finally got to speak a different case manager who would have no clue of what was happening. Each time I had to start from scratch again. After 6 months, I received an e-mail stating that ''they will no longer pursue the cases and are not obliged to tell me the reason and that I need to find another solicitor''. I lost 6 months, went to another solicitor who completed my case within 3 weeks. Buying or selling a property is always stressful. However RG Law solicitors made it the most worst experience for me and my family. I would definitely advise-STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Loren & Haron we both absolutely fantastic from the moment we instructed RG Law. They kept us up to date throughout with regular contact and were on the ball with every single request. They pushed until the very end to try everything they could to ensure we moved on the day that we had requested. During qwhat can be a stressful time with balancing our normal lives alongside a relocation of area including schools for our children. It was very reassuring to know that we had them in our corner and we are extremely grateful that we chose RG law and Loren and Haron to use for both our sale and purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my own family and friends in future.

I was fortunate when using Google researching a local solicitor, to find RG Law and then Hannah Holman.   I thoroughly recommend her, she has been fantastic.  Excellent and proactive, reliable and kind.  Returns calls and emails immediately, pursued a recalcitrant buyer's solicitor relentlessly.  Most of all, being elderly and on my own, not having moved for 50+ years, she has held my hand the whole way through with patience and knowledge.  Thank you, Hannah, I couldn't have coped without you!

While RG Law has a number of Solicitors, we felt accompanied throughout the process. We worked most closely with George Mason who did a great job ensuring that all questions were answered satisfactorily by the sellers. When George needed to be away from his desk, he communicated who would be available for any questions. We ran into a few challenges during the purchase process and George was able to support us in finding solutions and staying on track with our timeline.

Hannah is a very responsible people and also is a dedicated employee. Highly appreciated for you and RG Law assistance and both of you will have a bright future.
