I had a flat tyre on the highway on Sunday afternoon at 100 miles from london and the operator arrive 50 minutes after with a new tyre . This service is fantastic

Turned up on time and changed my tyre in quick time. Total took just over 90 minutes

I have used this company a few times now and I think they are extremely good. One way to make things quick and clear is to make sure you have your tyre size and postcode or location of where you are before you call. Once you give them your tyre size and location they send some one out to you right away but also remember the time of day effects the eta of course so just remember that when calling other than that I would recommend this company

TERRIBLE DO NOT USE!

My tire came away from the alloy whilst I was driving. Contacted this company who said they could get someone out to me with 40 to 60 mins which I was very happy about. 2.5hrs later sat in my own in the freezing cold the fitter arrived. He said my locking wheel nut key was not the right one and that he didn’t have the tools on him to get the tire off without the key.

I was not asked if I had the key etc I was just asked for the tire size when I booked. It’s concerning that an emergency tire fitter didn’t have the correct tools to address the issue. He then said he could go home and get the tools and would be 20mins which I didn’t believe as it had taken over 2hrs for them to arrive. He also said it would be an extra £50 at this point I said no and that I would use my breakdown cover to get home and organise a non urgent tire replacement. He then said I needed to pay a £50 call out fee but I had already pre paid a £60 call out fee. I then replied back to the WhatsApp that road mate sent me to check this was correct and I’ve not had a response.

As a single female in my own late at night I really didn’t expect to be intimidated and have a tire fitter try and con me out of more money.

From 1st contact to driving away. Good communications. Prompt arrival of a team of fitters within an hour.Wheel off & tyre changed in 15 minutes.
Excellent service throughout. Highly recommend.

Prompt turnaround

Guy on the phone was an absolute joke I asked about issuing paper invoices for inshurance purposes he told me No (literally that's all ge said) and put the phone down they were quick enough to take nearly £300 of my dad though very rude and unprofessional no need for the attitude

The technician that arrived was very friendly and capable (didn't catch his name - sorry). The wait was a little longer than anticipated but that's to be expected, particularly in the bad weather we had. Would use this service again.

Mohammed was quick, thorough, polite and really helpful. The whole experience was straightforward and although not a happy experience, helped put my mind at rest and made it easier. Thank you

Called at 11am on a Sunday admittedly and a very friendly, helpful lady arranged for a fitter to be with me by 1.00pm. After several follow up calls he arrived at 2.30pm. He then attempted to fit the tyre with great difficulty. At this point I noticed his van was overheating so he had to turn it off. Several phone calls later and apparently another van was on its way. The fitter continued to attempt to fit what he called " the cheap Chinese tyre" of which I had no say in what I was going to get. The other van called me to say he was on the A303 but stuck in a traffic accident and didn't know when he could get to me. By 4.30pm the original fitter had managed to fit the tyre and we were able to head for home. Prior to this the manager had called me in order to pay the bill which was £300.00. he also informed me "it was a very good tyre" and that "the fitter didn't know the knack of fitting them" I was quoted this initially but was keen to get out of a difficult situation so agreed. By the time I arrived home I then received calls from the second van asking where I was despite telling the manager he would need to inform the driver. So, £300 for a cheap tyre (£70 on eBay) and a 5.5 hour wait. Really not good enough and nothing in the way of a discount or even an apology!!!

Lying about time, promise to arrive within 45-60 minutes, but actually arrive minimum 2 hours late after promised time. Also upon calling them to inform that nobody arrived and not even tried to contact, them just tell that them will contact driver, not giving any estimate time or real help, after you pay deposit you will left to just wait and no service will be provided to you. This company is definitely SCAM.

Having called many breakdown services who couldn't help with my situation,i came across Roadmate.
Upon calling i was greeted with a very welcoming female voice at the other end,lady named Polly.
After listening to my plight,Polly went that extra mile to get me the service i needed ASAP & i have to stress that i had a tyre fitter with me within 45 mins of making that initial call.
I would like to thank Roadmateuk but especially Polly for just being that listening ear at the other end & doing that little bit extra that means so much when in distress.

I contacted this company online. They responded to me via WhatsApp but by then I had already arranged for my emergency tyre replacement with another company so I my exact response was: ‘Hi, thanks for your message. I have the tyre sorted now’. They responded with calling me an ‘𝙄𝘿𝙄𝙊𝙏’ - I’m shocked. I have screenshotted the entire conversation and wish I had the ability to attach it here.

Very poor service.
Very soft spoken, till you pay the money. The moment the transaction is done, their response changes. Get prepared to be treated rudely. I’ll feel I’m been cheated and treated unfair.

I would have not even given them a star but the website is not allowing me to do that.

Phoned for replacement tyre 12.45pm.Quote given by them and price. I was informed there would be a 30-60 minute arrival. 1.5 hours later no reply. I rang them and they said that they will contact the driver. 1 hour later, still no contact. I rang them again. They said that they will get the driver to ring me. Message sent by the company attending. Rang them and they relayed that road mate hadn't confirmed the call out, so their 2 drivers had gone out to other calls. Asked them to let me know when a driver was on his way. Driver arrived 5.45pm. At the least I would have expected them to keep me updated. Would not recommend this company. It seems as soon as they have your initial deposit they are not interested. Very interested to read about the other good reviews- how can a service vary so much ??????

Used them after hitting the curb. They were fantastic and quick. Replaced the tyre and there was no fuss. Pricey but gave me a good quality tyre as a replacement. Would use again - hopefully not needed though!

Incredibly fast with her helpful customer service. Had a flat Tyre and these guys got me back on the road in a hour! Not the cheapest but well worth it for how efficient they were. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Absolutely appalling experience. My son is a vulnerable adult. I called this company and explained his special needs. I was told someone would be with him within 45/60 minutes. I asked for reassurance as he was alone with a car with a puncture in the middle of nowhere and had sketchy phone signal. I paid the deposit and was given a time they would get to him by. After an hour and a half I was told the driver had crashed and was in hospital and another was being sent. Who would be 45/60 minutes. I reiterated my son's needs. Another hour passed and apparently that van broke down. Eventually it was dark, my son was having panic attacks. I was on the verge of calling the police to him as they have a duty to respond to a vulnerable adult. After 4.5 hours someone eventually arrived.If someone had said 4.5 hours originally other arrangements could have been made to handle the situation it was the lies and excuses that really grated and created enormous anxiety to both myself and my son.

Excellent service came out within hour of contacting them and the tyre was changed in under 10 minutes. Polite staff. Highly recommend.
