Shittiest quality spanners I've ever seen, bought their muti spanner pack as B&M was the only shop open and I needed to adjust my motorcycle chain ASAP but the spanner snapped, that's right completely snapped under the grand pressure of my arm, no body weight.
Extremely dangerous low quality material as could've lost an eye if I didn't have eye protection and it went that direction.

Responsive and helpful customer service which quite a few well-known companies fail to achieve when contacted using web-contact-forms (often the only available method)

I purchased 2x 23m micro irrigation watering kits from rolson hoping they would help to reduce the amount of time needed for watering my garden.
I was excited to give it a go but when I laid out all the items in the package and looked at the instructions I was just astonished at how useless they were. There were 74 pieces lettered from A to N. The instructions mention parts C, D and E then none of the other pieces were mentioned in the remainder of the A4 piece of paper.

I bought a set of Rolson Whitworth combination spanners from eBay thinking they were good value. I came to undo a pedal on a 1978 Raleigh Traveller bicycle with their 5/16" BSW spanner open end but the ends just opened so now the spanner has gone to be recycled. What type of chrome vanadium alloy they use I dread to think but now deeply regret having bought a spanner set for £18 when I should have paid £28 for a Whitworth spanner set I can use for years to come.

Bought a mini tool kit and the first time I picked up the pliers to use them the handle snapped off in my hand. Not even going to bother with the rest

Bought a Rolson retractable tape which won't retract. Thought it was just a one-off bit of bad luck with the brand however I purchased a Rolson Garden trowel which broke on first use! As it's broken on the weld join it can't be repaired. Wish I'd seen these reviews. Will be avoiding the brand in the future.

Buy cheap, buy twice. If you're happy to use a tool once and then chuck it out, then fine. Pay a bit more and get quality from almost any other manufacturer. You get what you pay for etc.

I've recently bought a Rolson 12" hacksaw from B&M It's exclusively available from them.
There was a blade missing, only 2 supplied and not the 3 as shown on the packaging.
I emailed Rolson and it's been totally ignored' it's certainly not good customer service.
That will teach me to buy Rolson rubbish in the future

And no I would not recommend this company.

Absolute rubbish poor quality tat.
The Rolson measuring tape that refuses to lock in.
The Rolson spirit level that gives a different version of level depending what way around you put it.
The Rolson screwdriver set with poorly machined useless screwdriver heads.
The Rolson drill bit set where every single drill bit wobbles about as if it were drunk.
I have never come across a brand where every single item they sell is totally useless.
Cheap for a reason. Don't waste your pennies.

Zero loyalty towards Customers / end users. Call them for support

Cheap but useless. Bought sheers and loppers, blades seem OK but within an hour of use the lopper's hollow handles had split and detached, the sheers misaligned meaning your knuckles bang together each cut and their handle also split and came off. First time using Rolson tools and I think I'll steer clear if their products are so poor.

I have a Titanium Coated drill set (ref 48707)
Every drill bit I have used has snapped, so I wasted not only my money but wasted an awful lot of time buying quality replacements.
Cheap rubbish, would definitely not by Rolson again

Bought a pair of Rolson rotating shears at B&M, blades were blunted after less than half an hour of use. You get what you pay for, and that's cheap tat.

waste of time company. Dont respect orders. no customer serivce. they treat people the wrong way.

It’s so nice to get great customer service support.. it was so easy to email customer service, you replied within a day or so with a request for my address, it then came super quick (arrived a week after I replied to you with my address!)
We are all too quick to complain, but say less often when we are happy.. you really exceeded my expectations... so THANK YOU VERY MUCH Simon!
***Edited - just want to say that some of these low star reviews I’ve seen would have put me off, but the reviews really are quite old. Rolson produces pretty low cost & affordable items. Mainly we should always go back to where we purchased an item as that is who we have an agreement with.. if bought within a year… after that I feel we should have realistic expectations of how long things last! Look up consumer acts on google!

Sells sub standard products and has a fake customer service department. Will never use again.

I have 2 of these Rolson mini 'Leatherman' tools. I have used and abused them and never had any problem. Quality of manufacture is fit for purpose.

The battery operated glue gun is useless. Avoid at all costs

Useless Customer Service, faulty product purchased 2 days ago , and because they no longer market the product , they will offer no assistance in replacing it. I do NOT recommend this company.
