I got this company in to fell a few tall trees at the front of my house, which I felt were unsafe. I asked them just to cut them down in bits and leave them tidy for me to log up later, they did the job when I was at work one day, I arrived home to find all the branches and trunks and everything left tidy, they had even removed the ivy from most of the trunks making them easier for me to log up, I would use these guy's again and recommend them to others.

Prompt attention for quotation, job completed a few days later with no mess whatsoever and they made sure we were completely happy with the work done before they left. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. First class.

This is the second time I have used Royal Oak Tree Services to trim and shape trees in my garden. They did a fantastic job on a huge beech tree which probably hadn't been touched in about a hundred years. They have also kept a rowan tree neat and tidy and clear of contact with overhead wires. I trust them completely; they have the credentials and knowledge to care for trees. I will use them again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending the company.

Ive known the company and individuals in the company in a professional capacity for many years, I have seen them grow from a small diligent domestic arb company to taking on large commercial contracts and now engaging their professional services on behalf of my clients. I recently employed them to dead wood an avenue of mature Oak trees. The team turned up on site looking smart, polite and with a spider MEWP, Track chipper and tipper. The site was left immaculate, and all works carried out to the specifications set out in a previous tree survey and within BS 3998 2010.
They are a well organised, reliable, professional organisation with competitive pricing and good arboricultural knowledge. I regularly recommend Royal Oak to domestic and commercial clients.

The team was made up of very affable 'hedgecutters' who took note of my issues, etc and worked extremely hard. They also tidied up. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others and would use them again.

We are absolutely thrilled with the perfect service we received today, well from start to finish actually. The guys done so much work (removal of 16 conifer trees and stump grinding) and all in a morning. All trees removed and roots all ground up and all branches all churned up and in the back of their truck. Our garden and drive was left so clean and tidy after everything was done. We used their services for removing a high broken branch, clearing a road for the telephone overhead wire, and trimming the lower branches (crown uplift) on a 100-year old Norwegian spruce.

A great team of very hard working, knowledgable professionals who took down a massive chestnut tree that was diseased, in my garden, and in danger of coming down at some point in the not so distant future, on top of my house.
From their competitive quote through to making the tree safe, they made the process very easy for me.
Totally amazing how they were able to safely take down such a big tree in a very small space and so close to the house - and everything was left so tidy too.

The service was excellent. The leylandi trees were removed and the branches from a neighbour's overhanging cherry tree pruned back. The guys tidied up properly and we will be happy to use this business again.
