Ordered an item and encountered a Royal Mail delivery issue. Spoke to Ollie who resolved the problem without question. Refreshing & fantastic customer service, cannot recommend S2AS highly enough.

I was a little bit concerned since the shop is located in UK and the order -a kitesurf board- was placed in Spain, but the customer service was excellent and everything went OK.
Bought some Snowboarding boots during Black Friday but they were delayed due to issues at Customs. S2AS were in contact with regular updates. And on Xmas day morning I asked a question about the boots and Angelo responded within minutes (Totally unexpected but much appreciated). Just need to coerce the missus into letting me buy a snowboard next 🤣
Ordered and paid for a wakeboard - Customer Services range next day advising that the product isn't in stock and I'd need to order a different board and pay the difference. He offered to discount a newer version of the board from £300 to £206, as an apology for the issue. Although, it was more than my original order and I was told I'd have to pay the difference, I appreciated him trying to help as it was a huge discount... However, it appears that this wasn't true at all and I wasn't getting a deal, as upon re-checking the website, the board he was offering me was available to buy at £206 anyway...
When highlighting this to him, we did agree on a completely different board with £20 off, which considering the amount I was now paying and the service I'd just received wasn't the best sweetener and was still more than my original order.
The new board arrived quickly and looks like a decent product; however, service really let the place down. I felt like I was being tricked into spending more money than I wanted to, with lies about knocking money off due to stock issues.
Royal mail made an error with shipping, returning my package before it was delivered. I called S2AS, spoke to Ollie on the phone, and he refunded my order and sent another item out on express delivery. No complaints here!

Really great service. Called with a query, answered by a friendly and helpful person who gave me additional information about the item that proved to be 100% correct. Also checked that I had seen another item in case it was a better fit for what I was after. Went above and beyond, item arrived on time and is exactly what I need. Would shop there again without hesitation.

The part was not delivered within the agreed time and was not even processed.

Utterly incompetent. I paid via PayPal and waited over a week for any kind of shipping info or tracking. When I contacted them, they said that I needed to provide proof of purchase?!? The PayPal payment notification wasn't enough?!? Appalling that they are in business.
This company is UK based, they put a nice little flag of your country on the top right of the website but their price exclude custom duties and VAT. So at the end you got a +50% on top of your bills. If you look carefully it's writing in small "NON UK Price excludes tax", that's their only warning when you order in the EU. If your refuse to pay customs fees, they still charge for the delivery cost. It looks like a scam to me.

I purchased a kite from S2AS which developed a leak on the one strut. The kite is under warranty when the leak occurred, and I was informed that I had to return the kite to the shop at my own expense £8. It was discovered that the valve had come loose from the strut bladder. I was told that it could have been my fault that it came loose because I left the kite in the sun which is complete rubbish. The kite had only been used once prior to the leak being discovered on the second occasion it was pumped up. I was then informed that there was a cut in the canopy which is complete rubbish on the same strut that had the leak and was not there when I marked up were the leak was and I believe they damaged the kite when unpacking it as the cut looks very clean like a blade caused it and also the location of the cut makes no sense as it is about 2 feet from the end of the strut. Upon receiving the kite back and rolling it out it was discovered that they had used a different valve on the bladder to repair the leak as the valve had come loose which had a larger diameter than the original valve so the special fitting that slides over the pipe to hold the pipe in place between valves did not fit over the new valve. S2AS staff used a cable tie to secure the pipe between the valves which they feel is acceptable. When I called, the shop I was told that the repair was fine, and they did not see any issue with the repair.
I complained that I was not happy with the repair and was told that I had 3 options.
1. I could just accept it as it is because the valve of the same diameter was not available.
2. S2AS would take it back and offer me £48 less than what I paid for the kite because of the damage that they say was on the kite when it arrived.
3. I could trade the kite it in on a new more expensive kite which would cost me an additional £1800 which is just not an option.
The communication from S2AS shop staff during this process is a complete joke they don't provide updates and don't return calls or emails.
Just remember any warranty issues which need to be returned to S2AS will be at your own cost.
Ordered an inflatable kayak packaged well and delivered on time. Noticed a bulge behind the seat so emailed s2as has been 4 days with no reply, looks like im gonna have to call them. My rating will change depending upon the return and re ordering with s2as. I dont expect to wait 4 days from a company that should want good reviews. I have been contacted by s2as and they seem very helpful
Was keen to purchase my first inflatable sup board and had a look on S2AS site . After looking at several boards I decided to phone shop and ask for some advice on what board would suit my need . Was very happy with the help and advice I was given and ordered the board that was recommended to me . After a couple of days I phoned shop and asked for updates on board delivery but unfortunately the board distributors had gone into administration . It was then that the guys at S2AS got to work and after a few phone calls to them and from them they managed to get the chosen board delivered to me. Despite the board being delivered a couple of days late I was well pleased with the effort that Ollie and Glen put in to make sure I did get the board I had selected . Cheers guys for a job well done
Ordered a board: 9 days later no contact and no board.. shipping was 3 days, contacted them to be told it was no longer available. I’d had no notifications for the delay never mind having to contact them to find they had no stock. Mean while it’s still listed on their site.
Awful service and won’t use again. Sad times, we’re a skater family a spend a lot on boards, trucks, etc every year, not to mention who we recommend to other riders at our park.. So, won’t be using these guys ever again.. in contrast, I found the same board with bobs gnarly surf shop who dispatched within 10hrs of me submitting an order and gave me a tracking number and several emails.. well done bob! As for surface 2 air.. customers are your life blood, if you want to keep them, you need to sort your service.
